Apparently the staff over at OWI have something planned for us tomorrow,
but they're keeping their lips sealed as usual.
I'm guessing it has to do with Stranger or Munch?

Seeing Stewart Gilray tweet this makes me suspect we may be seeing that trailer at long last tomorrow.

That tweet sure is suspicious.

Will I be able to get on-line tomorrow? Who knows?

I doubt it'll be the announcement of anything new. Hopefully it'll be a release date for SWHD, maybe with a trailer too.

By now I think we have all gotten use to waiting for interesting announcements, hearing them, then waiting some more. So as interested as we are to find out what will be announced today, is that really an appropriate place to be MeechCrunchies?

Rule One of being an Oddworld fan must be extreme patience. Rule two must then be not to get our hopes up. Rule three is extreme cynicism towards good news...In fact, actually liking Oddworld is around rule sixteen! ;)

I'm hoping for more news about Abe's Oddysee HD. Also some news on HoO would be neat, we haven't really heard anything of that for a couple of months now.

Cryptic hints can be over-hyped by fans who aren't forgiving when you fail to deliver for reasons beyond your control. Havoc told me that what they did was bad PR, perhaps I agree with him.

Oh well at least we know they have something cool lined up for us soon. :)

Summer officially ends in pretty much exactly one week. If they don't release it within that time frame, then they are LIARS.

Not in North America. Summer ends on the 21st-22nd of September. Of course, most people are of the mind that summer ends the second it stops being warm, which depends entirely on your region.

What about New York, where the weather can't make it's mind up?

Aren't they self-publishing this stuff? Who's permission would they need?

JAW's? Fuck if I know. They have 2 hours to deliver something or bust. Unless of course what they were looking forward to has absolutely nothing to do with us fans.

This permission, I suppose, is that of a third-party publisher; JAW are really more co-developers. Did anyone here really expect OWI to meet a deadline?

They're also sending mails out to game journalists so... yeah. My money is still on that it's just a new picture. Maybe two.

JAW are the developers, OWI are the publishers.

Possibly Sony and/or Valve's, depending on what platform they're releasing on first.

My money’s still on the trailer that was announced a week ago. After all, they’ve been pretty liberal with posting screenshots recently.
