What is a big board? Do we gain any recognition or something?

So I decided to look up a big board to compare us to and found that Gaia Online has 1,960,096,098 posts, with 25,088,220 members. I'd only vaguely heard of it before. Interested in how it could possibly be so big I looked it up, and saw that that they had a special section for Harry Potter discussion. There I found quite possibly the best fanfiction ever written, and I thought I had better share it with you all. Here it is.

Do threads in necrum contribute to that number? Also Havoc is this just an attempt to get there faster?

Funny, it's been 10 years to reach this point, by rate of growth and number of permanent members increasing, we should reach 1,000,000 before 2020.

I think they can only track total number of unique IPs at any one time for 4chan. According to their statistics, every poster would have had to make just over ten thousand posts.

My post is the 509,848th post. Which means that we must have almost 10,000 posts deleted, in Necrum and in W&B.
