I think they're basically just saying they've planned the story line for ME. Which we already know they have.

Am I the only one that feels like perhaps OWI is biting off a little more than they can chew?

Isn't that how it always goes with OWI? It's a recurring theme. They announce the most awesome things in Lorne's head. Then come to the conclusion that there is either no money or no way to realize it and the project is dead until further notice.

I remember when Lorne said he had amazing ideas that would revolutionize the gaming industry. Uh huh...

Yeah, first Hand of Odd, then Sligstorm, now this?! I hope these aren't just empty promises...

To be fair, they haven't said they're actually working on Sligstorm or Munch's Exoddus, just that they're a possibility.

The Munch's Exoddus documents are ten years old. Just we have them. Our schedule doesn't have a slot for it right now.

That will never come (I think), but...

Well, by Alf, looks like we're just being given old news, only now it interests JAW, so perhaps in a few years once they have the money...it will be a possibility. First off get those platformers, remakes, 2.5D/3D multi awesome...things you have going, one step at a time.

I enjoyed MO, myself. Very much so. Plot, controls, visuals, the lot. Would love to see a Munch's Exoddus, but I wonder if Abe would be in it? I assume so- despite him being described as a "sidekick" for Munch, he is just as important in gameplay

MO was... ummmmmmmmmmmm..... ok. not a bad game, but not totally amazing either.

But I loved the storyline!

I imagine the story of ME would make a point to put in all the stuff they had to cut from MO. Namely Molluck's trial against Maggie and Abe and Munch springing Sam from the Vykkers' clutches.

But this isn't news. There's been a concept document for Munch's Exoddus for years. Just as there has been a concept for Squeek's Oddysee and Hand of Odd for over a decade. I rescind my previous comment about biting off more than they can chew. They haven't even prepared the meal yet.
