I find it kinda weird that strangers wrath HD is jut around the corner and apart from a couple of screenshots that were released waaaay back, a few updated models and a fancy new logo we haven't actually seen any in game footage. Shouldn't there have been a trailer or something at least by now?

There has. These things are sent directly to Max, who acts as an unpaid mediator to the other fans, given carte blanch to reveal them at whatever rate he sees fit.

They were tweeting a couple of weeks back about inviting members of the gaming press to come and get a hands-on demo of the game.

Plus they've recently been tweeting about everything "falling into place", so I wouldn't be too worried.

and i suppose its good that theyre bringing people in to play the game , hopefully somebody will bring a secret camera and leak some footage :P I still want an official trailer of some kind though.

Now now, we're a few days from beta. No need to ruffle us up, we'll get round to the marketing thing in good time. I believe we're still on track for a summer release.

HD looks good but I think we'll need larger screenshots to appreciate their updated textures, with the first screenshot the comparison is obvious, but with the second screenshot it's hard to tell what's been changed from the tiny HD one that they posted.
