What are you drinking right now? #1

I am drinking a electroshock mountain dew :D

moxco 07-18-2011 09:39 PM

Right now - this very moment? One heaped teaspoon of Moccona - Mocha Kenya Style instant coffee and two heaped teaspoons of raw sugar disolved in boiling water and milk.

bigface1 07-18-2011 09:44 PM

Right now - Fav doesn't matter.

Dynamithix 07-18-2011 09:58 PM

Milk.

DarkHoodness 07-18-2011 10:16 PM

Ordinary red label blended tea with milk and sugar. I practically live off this stuff.

Sekto Springs 07-18-2011 10:33 PM

Some V8 fusion shit. I had some hot chocolate about an hour ago.

Same.

Instant coffee is vile. I actually have some in the house, and I've used less than a third of it. I think I only bought it because a recipe for homemade Irish cream called for it. I don't recall using it since.

Jordan 07-18-2011 11:10 PM

Some leftover mouthwash. I need to wake up earlier so I can make myself a drink. Booo.

Strike Witch 07-18-2011 11:32 PM

Water.

Tadimo 07-18-2011 11:52 PM

I'm drinking some l'eau du robinet.

Mr. Bungle 07-19-2011 12:14 AM

Nothing right now, but I was drinking diet coke earlier. Reading this thread made me thirsty, however, so I may go for some orange-flavoured water. Shit's good.

CrissCross 07-19-2011 01:03 AM

Over concentrated juice. tis good :D

moxco 07-19-2011 01:31 AM

Well we can't all have an espresso machine and as far as instant coffee goes Moccanna is a lot better than some.

Crashpunk 07-19-2011 01:37 AM

PG Tips.

Phylum 07-19-2011 02:39 AM

I drink mainly water and tea. I tried some of my brother's good whiskey the other night which was amazing despite being completely overpowering.

JennyGenesis 07-19-2011 02:44 AM

We already have a drinks thread...

Phylum 07-19-2011 02:45 AM

Oh my, we do............

STM 07-19-2011 04:45 AM

And then no one cared.

I haven't drunk anything today because I've only been up for thirty minutes. But I have a four day old water bottle on my table next to me and some whisky somewhere, probably on my show table.

Disgruntled Intern 07-19-2011 06:28 AM

Firestone's Double Jack. Because an ale at 7:30 in the morning is always a grand idea.

STM 07-19-2011 07:01 AM

It's always alc-o'clock.

Disgruntled Intern 07-19-2011 07:30 AM

Not for you. I think you need to hang onto as many brain cells as you possibly can.

STM 07-19-2011 07:51 AM

Perhaps, alternatively...no, I have enough to last me.

Speaking of alcohol, I just had to clean out my mucky old hip flask for a party tonight, there aren't any spirits and only a little beer so me and my mate are smuggling them in. I hate dry parties. =(

JennyGenesis 07-19-2011 07:59 AM

Don't drink whisky as soon as you get up in the morning,

I learnt why...

STM 07-19-2011 08:01 AM

Whisky is historically meant to be drunk at any time, the morning is just as good as the evening because it warms you up in the cold which is typical of the Highlands. I drink whiskey a bit because my family all love the stuff, never affected me if I drank it in proper amounts, i.e. without the intention of boozing up.

No, cheap instant coffee is vile. I have one or two brands that are pretty good. Not as good as a well made espresso, but certainly drinkable.

MA 07-19-2011 09:31 AM

when it comes to tea and coffee, i can drink any old shit. i haven't come across a brand i didn't like. the only time i won't like coffee is if its way too strong, which is why i don't go to those shitty Starbucks and Costa Coffee shops that have sprung up everywhere. give me a small, friendly cafe and i'll be tempted to go in there every single time i pass it on the street. there used to be tons of them around here, but they've all been driven out of business by fucking lattes and super-strong cappuccinos with gold dust sprinkled on top. fucking hate it.

little rant, there.

i lost my hip flask when i was working at the farm. one of my workmates was a fucking dick and an alcoholic, and he'd drink this god-awful whiskey he'd hide in his bag while driving around the farm on a JCB telehandler. one day i left my hip flask in the dog shed where we used to have our dinner break, and, of course, when i came back it was gone. i knew he'd stole it, but i didn't have any way to prove it seeing as he was such a sly cunt and i'd only just started working there.

he thought things were going well for him until he accidentally killed a cow and almost got the sack. fucking idiot.

OOH ARR

Disgruntled Intern 07-19-2011 09:34 AM

I've just cracked this:

http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._1828345_n.jpg

And I'm enjoying the fuck right out of it. It's incredibly rare, and it's probably the last time I'll have it in quite some time. Oh well, it was meant to be enjoyed, and I managed to put a good six months of age on it, so down the hatch it goes.

MA 07-19-2011 09:45 AM

i can almost taste that. sounds fucking delicious.

Disgruntled Intern 07-19-2011 09:49 AM

It's pretty god damned amazing. I'm lucky in that my biological father Spike not only runs a craft ale/microbrew specialty shop in northern California, but has become friends with several brewers. So he sends me a package of unusual or rare brews that I wouldn't be able to get up here a few times a year. That was one of them.
