Please tell me that that is a cake.

Please tell me that that is a cake.

Cake or not, that really made me laugh. :)

Happy birthday to BM. Keep with the interesting posts 'n stuff.

Nate 06-25-2011 11:25 PM

I Google 'Search by Image'-ed it. It does appear to be a cake, but there seem to be a hell of a lot of sites using that image when discussing actual placenta. Especially when suggesting that you cook and eat placenta.

Happy Birthday archive man.

abe is now! 06-26-2011 03:49 AM

OddjobAbe 06-26-2011 04:08 AM

Happy birthday.

Aw, this thread couldn't be more perfect unless it was custom-made for me.

It was? Hooray!

I'm having a wonderful time answering birthday massages on my day-off. So far I have received a book, Brian Cox's Wonders of the Universe, that was actually a Christmas present the gifting of which was entirely forgotten for six months, also two bars of chocolate and £120 towards my new computer when I get one.

Also the nice weather, which was actually a present to me using my recently constructed weather machine. I was actually a bit worried that it wouldn't work in time, it's taken me four days to counteract the Glastonbury Effect.

T-nex 06-26-2011 04:40 AM

You should set up a personal lab for those £120 D:

Happy b-day!

my day-off

Are you still volunteering at the museum, or has something else come up that I completely failed to remember?

STM 06-26-2011 05:04 AM

That wonders of the universe books is amazing BM, you'll really enjoy that if you haven't devoured it with your brain already.

Something came up that you failed to remember, but I'll let you off because I haven't told you yet.

I started a new job on Thursday at a college garden centre. It's not exactly mentally stimulating, but it helps fund my research.

STM 06-26-2011 06:16 AM

What research do you do?

Nate 06-26-2011 06:28 AM

And what's a college garden centre?

Dynamithix 06-26-2011 07:11 AM

Happy birthday, Owl man!

What research do you do?

I think it's better that you don't know.

And what's a college garden centre?

It's a garden centre owned and run by a college. It's a land-based college, all farming and animal management and horticulture and so forth. Many of the plants have been grown in a student nursery.

STM 06-26-2011 11:31 AM

Go for it BM, unless you want to keep it private for your own reasons I'm quite happy to here it.

Bullet Magnet 06-26-2011 02:19 PM

Come to think of it, your knowing could interfere with my results should I ever increase the experiment's scale.

Strike Witch 06-27-2011 12:46 AM

Happy Birthday.

Ok, now I'm worried, is it mass hypnosis to turn the whole country into mindless workers for a new Super Britain? Because if it is I'm not wearing your goggles you bastard!

MeechMunchie 06-27-2011 03:34 AM

Happy Birthday, Captain Cuttlefish!

Disgruntled Intern 06-28-2011 11:57 AM

Happy birthday to you, dear sir.

Bullet Magnet 06-28-2011 12:25 PM

I was fired yesterday, and then hired back this morning. I'm having a whale of a time.

STM 06-28-2011 12:56 PM

They found your research about world domination and re-hired you for fear of their lives huh?

Dixanadu 06-28-2011 02:10 PM

The manager got jealous at him for knowing more than they did.

Managers are funny like that.

Happy birthday!

I started a new job on Thursday at a college garden centre. It's not exactly mentally stimulating, but it helps fund my research.

whoa, man. whoa. cleaning out water troughs is more mentally stimulating than you might think.

Bullet Magnet 07-04-2011 01:57 PM

Farming is mentally stimulating. If you can't stay on top of the science and come up with new ways to increase yield sustainably you'll go bust. Also everyone will starve to death.

moxco 07-05-2011 04:34 AM

BM is trying to create a race (or rather species) of Human-Chimpanzee hybrids which he will use to take over the world.
