Becuase I wanted to know who was watching it. Just to get a rough guess of how many people are actually interested in it.

I think I best show my lover that post.......I did get a text from him tonight asking if I was watching it. I can only assume from that text that he is watching it.

I was invited by my best friend's family to spend the evening with them and eat curry, it was on in the background while we played board games.

What I don't understand is why the songs are always so terrible - The best entry this year was France, mostly because their entry wasn't a cheap, shallow, mass-produced pop song, unlike most of the others, with many of the songs being an insult to music.

Last year my ex's family had it on while we ate dinner together. The Finnish had an entry that was sung by one of the singers from the band Värttinä. I mean I love Värttinä and their Finnish folk music, but that entry was as terrible as the others - It was painful to watch a normally talented person stoop so low. Augh.

I was discussing this with my friends this evening, actually. If America did compete with other countries in a song contest though, then indeed, they probably would chose that crappy song performed by Rebecca Black as their entry. The style of that song fits right in.

Finland's entry was so stupid.

I'll assume that has to do with Jedward, and not the Irish in general.

I really wanted them to win just to see the Irish banks crash again trying to afford hosting it. Again. And glad Britain tried to help by giving them all our points! HAHAFUCKINGHA!

But it's all political so no wonder Azerbaijan won it.

Republic papers were majorly pissed Jedward represented them. Not just because they're shit, but because they're from Northern Ireland.

It would be like Kim Jung Il managing the South Korean national team.
