Recently I was playing my favourite platformer on my laptop when my brother runs in with his DS. I watched him playing new super mario bros and it just hit me: what if Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus where on nintendo DS? It would work so well! So I got my wannabe photoshop program up and running (paint...) and got to work. After about 2 hours of internet searching, resizing images, cropping, copying and pasting, I made three images - a case for Abe's Oddysee DS, a case for abe's Exoddus DS and a screen overview for Abe's Oddysee being played on DS - complete with the gameplay on the top screen and gamespeak on the bottom screen. But that wasn't enough, oh on. The controls are attached in a .txt document ready for download. The controls were made before I decided to do the Exoddus picture so are for Oddysee.

I love this! What a great way to enter the forums! It looks like you've just gone and bought the game and taken a picture!!! Well done, also I like the control document, adds a little flavour. If you have anything more you haven't yet shown, upload it!

Nice simple edits there. I always wanted Oddworld to be on DS, I feel it will work really well with the touch screen.

Nice. And I agree with Wariopunk, OW would work on the DS well. The gamespeak could be used by the touch screen, heh!

What does the GameSpeak screen show the PC controls?

Because I doubt he could be bothered to scribble away the little numbers.

Funny sort of reason, that. You doubting he could be bothered, I mean. Surely that would make him want to prove himself, not admit he was lazy?

I dunno. Maybe he just forgot, it's only minor anyway.

The gamespeak on the touch screen is a nice idea. only without the numbers.

I opened this topic thinking you hade made stickers to go on an actual DS. Not what I was expecting but damn! Those are awesome! Think you could do the backs aswell? I also love how you have the gamespeak buttons on the touch screen. But what would happen to the gamespeak screen when you possess a Slig? Remember AO didn't have a gamespeak screen for the Slig.

Iwould have done, but my laptop is very slow so if I installed photoshop or gimp (or anything else) my computer would ground to a hault! Not only that, but I feel prouder if I do it with paint, because it's a bit harder which means you feel like you did a good job :) I'll see if I can try it, it may work (who nose!)

Forget about the numbers, I'm more worried about the placement of the "GAME BOY" logo. It obscures the text!!!

That wasn't my creation (mine were the first three - Oddysee and Exoddus DS with DS pic) and to be honest (no offence) I don't really want the others on this thread, because they are not my work.
