I joined Oddworldforums 2 days ago, and I gotta say, it's nice.:)
But not everything is nice, so I feel offended of these reasons:
1.Some people say my videos are crap or are worthless spam
2.The rules are very weird, like "NO INFRACTIONS ALLOWED"
Ok, I understand Oddworld series are not worth being free, but seriously, who made these rules? Policemen?
3.Nobody wants to be my friend

The only reason people share their creations on the internet is for entertainment purposes. When a large part of the demographic you aimed the content at tell you that it's not entertaining, you should try and improve the quality of your output. You should not whinge about it. This advice borders on platitude, but it is true.
People who have respect for copyright laws and the wishes of the creators of the thing they're promoting.
Nobody likes a moaner.

I haven't seen your videos, nor will I, so I don't, nor ever will I, have an opinion on them. People have the right to have negative opinions, and there will always be people who feel like expressing them. My advice is to encourage these people to provide you with constructive criticism so that you can learn how to make better videos in the future. If they're not doing that, you have no obligation to pay them the blindest bit of notice.

The rules are there to encourage a community atmosphere that is conducive to friendly, enjoyable discussion. Like any rules, they don't do a perfect job, but they make things better. The Oddworld Forums are very big, with over 10 years of history and more than 200 active members. If we let people post anything anywhere, there will be a lot of confusion and everyone will get pissed off. We don't want that.

As it is, double posting and creating threads in the wrong place annoys people (see above). Once you start integrating into the culture that has developed here, you may find yourself developing better relationships with other members.

I've seen some of your videos and the posts in reply to them. They really aren't that bad, it's constructive criticism and you need to take it. I'll admit, I didn't think your videos were very good, but if you keep at it you will improve, it's not gonna be perfect from the start, you have to work your way up.

Everyone's a newbie one day on here and you need to live with the potential shit that you're gonna get, whether it be unfair or something not bad at all like you're getting. Post threads like this and you will have the piss taken out of you, that is a fact. I'm sure it won't be like that forever. I felt the same as you when I first joined, but it gets better if you stick with it.

Also, posting stuff like "Fuck oddworld forums" will not get people to forgive you so easily, I suggest you don't actually do that if you wanna stay here.

if people don't like your video's that is completely up to them, as for the rules, thier there for a reason and you should just flow with them

it is unfortunate that you copped some rubbish so early but you should just weather it untill it stops, I copped a lot of crap when I started too (granted I deserved some of it)
