Another Squeek
When I'm bored and I pick up a pencil, this is generally the first thing I'll draw. I've drawn so many versions of this character (only two of which I've actually put on here a long, long time ago) that he has become somewhat of an avatar for myself.
But the reason I started drawing him was because of the mystery surrounding the next character in the Oddworld quintology. His appearance draws from other Oddworld designs, and if it weren't for the mention of him, this character probably wouldn't exist. Cheers OWI, you've been inspiring me since I was six years old, and you've never stopped. If I can find any other bits and pieces I've done up, I'll post them here as well. So, Squeek. |
looks great

Looks really cool and all, but it looks like it's a 'bad guy', hah. :D

Very oddish, I like :)

I love it.
but you've gotta wonder if Squeek will be a humanoid like Abe? |

Here's a similar one, this time full body.
Not exactly the same by way of face, though. |
That's Popeye's ancestor.
|
YOur Squeek looks really great! I hope that OWI's Squeek looks as cool as yours.
|
Haha, I was shocked when I saw it's arms. What is this, Left 4 Oddworld? :D

For some reason, since I started drawing the character, I always imagined he/she'd walk like a gorilla.
I figured as Munch was the slower type (on land), Squeek could be somewhat quick, with the ability to manouvre through forests and whatnot. Perhaps even swing through trees. I drew it with more ordniary arms at one point, but it just felt like another animal to me. I couldn't tell you whether or not it's right, but I guess I'm glad it's not ordinary. And yes, Popeye-ey is probably how I'd describe it. :P |
Looks like Stranger with those big ass arms and his stooped posture.
