Oddworld Inhabitants, along switching between these:
GT Games -> Microsoft -> EA Games -> Just Add Water


GT Games created:
Oddworld Abe's Oddysee
Oddworld Abe's Exoddus


Microsoft created:
Oddworld Munchs Oddysee


EA Games created:
Oddworld Strangers Wraith


Just Add Water created:
Oddworld Abe's HD

That sounds about right.

however all of us know this

They were only publishers. Not developers. Only Oddworld inhabitants was the developers.

Q) Who will buy oddworld?
A) Just Add Water in this case!


Q) Can a publisher like Just Add Water buy the king?
A) It's like a fan uses $$$ to buy a country!

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. Just Add Water has not "bought" Oddworld Inhabitants. Of all the companies you've listed, only GT Interactive have ever had a stakehold in OWI. If anything, the current publishing company is Valve.

Is Oddworld Inhabitants too expensive?



Q) What would happen if Just Add Water have money to buy Valve?
A) Half-Life 2 episode 3 will then not be 3D FPS! The next Half-Life games will be 2.5D! and same for counter strike, team fortress and portal in this case.

For the record:

• GT Interactive, Microsoft, and EA were all publishers, not developers.
• Oddworld Inhabitants were the developers of Abe's Oddysee, Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath. They created them, not the other companies you mentioned.
• Nobody has bought or is buying Oddworld Inhabitants. GT Interactive originally had a share of the company, but since then OWI has been independent.
• Just Add Water does not own Oddworld Inhabitants, they are working for them to produce several projects. They have not bought OWI.
• Just Add Water is not a publisher, they are a developer.
• Nobody is ever going to buy Valve, especially not JAW or OWI.

No, they're just the distributor, like EB games or any other store. I believe OWI now qualify as self-published.

And Digital Dialect and whoever did PC munch should be in the devs list ;)
