I like the opening to 'Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers'. It always used to make me jump when I was little. :)

It's a much better comment than you are poster.
We can do non-anime stuff too. And I can't honestly think of any live action shows I actually give a shit about nowdays. |

Got to get back, back to the past, Samurai Jack!

no offence but how can you be gripped by that film when theres no clip of it, just speedy annoying titles?

Now MA is going to say something like: "Stop looking at me, Poirot!" |

SpongeBob Squarepants.
Simpsons. Futurama. Yep. Probably others I can't recall. |

Animation and music better than all of those. Also the Venture Bros. opening is really good. It's an awesome show too. I couldn't find a good clip of it but you should check it out. |
And the greatest one of all time: |
:
|
Lexx:
I think that Lexx is my equivalent to OANST's Dark Shadows. Not an exact comparison, but anyone who knows just how damn much OANST likes that show (and why) could probably see the similarity. It was awesome, just this incredible space saga without a whole lot of organization. You may notice that it implies that the pretty lady in the opening was present throughout most of the series, which is bullshit. she was replaced by someone ten times hotter about six episodes in (whose tits are just right there when she's introduced--BAM!). Lexx itself is one of the most frighteningly endearing things I've ever encountered in fiction. He's just a big friendly alien jet dragonfly space penis. They always leapt around with how exactly it fed, too. In the opening there it implies that it eats people (and it did, a lot, a fucking whole ton of people). Then they say that it could just eat dirt from planets and thn sometimes it fed off of just outright blowing shit up. |
No-one's put the Fresh Price of Bel-Air yet.
I knew that. I did. Really. |
stop looking at me, Poirot.

EDIT: This movie intro was amazing when I first saw it: |
aww come on, none of those beat dr who! its a classic! in fact, someone post up a poll with ALL of these openings, so we can vote for our favourite? (i dont know how to do it, i clik the post poll button underneath post new thread but nothing happens).
|
Movie openings are though. Movies don't start the same way that tv shows start.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR1MizGhbkE I wish I had the alternate intro that premiered at the middle of season 6. The one with Michael Scott Paper Company :D. That one was for the fans. Only I will understand these *sniff*: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJPS5Kr5bWc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LyNFxnv78w Where's the embed video button? |
