What would OWI be doing right now if MO stayed on PS2 and was made as planned, and became a phenomenal success? What would be happening in such a Universe??

Perhaps OWI would have released many more OW games and OW would be a very popular gaming success, up there with Call of Duty series. This forum would also be much more populated.

I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

More money and recognition for OWI would definitely be a good thing for them... And in an indirect way for us too.

More money=more games

But that would create a paradox wouldn't it! A terrible paradox in which gamers ruled the world and everyone is drunk on victory gin and where Brits go to work at the Ministry of Love and speak newspeak and play MO on their telescreens.

Whats wrong with that I wouldn't min that paradox :)

we would have seen the entire quintology and hand of odd as well.

It would of most likely become a massive hit across different platforms of gaming, but devoted fans still think that Abe games were the best.

hopefully we'll see Oddworld re-born next year.

If it had been a phenomenal success and they'd made more money off it, I don't think they wouldve necessarily made more games. Probably wouldve moved into looking at film anyway but with more confidence. Maybe we wouldve seen Citizen Siege come out by now or other projects.
