I was trying to remember today how much Moolah it's possible to get in Stranger's Wrath, but it's been such a long time since I've played that I just can't remember. I know if you bounty Outlaws alive, find hidden stashes and artefacts, and don't buy everything from the General Store you can end up in excess of the 20 000 Moolah Stranger has to pay for his operation: but just how much in excess I can't recall.

What's the highest you've collected (without cheating, of course)?

I hardly remember! haven't played that game in like 5 years! But im pretty sure i had around 12,000 (yes i suck)

i think i only got around 11,000 :(

I do believe that Max asked for how much people earned by bountying every outlaw, finding every pot of gold and not buying anything at all. Which is to say... not what you guys did.

If you didn't get more than 20,000 Moolah, don't bother posting.

I know, I know. I refer to it plenty. Didn't realize there was this guide, though, it wasnt't there last time I looked (admittedly several years ago). Personally, yes, I'm satisfied that it's not possible to get anything like 100, 50 or even 30 grand. ;) Thanks mate.

Me neither, but that would have been the best place to find the answer to your question. I was surprised the faq was specific about the moolah (tbh, I don't remember much about the game). Most of the times those faqs are about how to beat it non upgraded (like how I like to play games where due). This is certainly the ONLY way I am gonna beat Stranger from now on, unless trophies force me otherwise (I NEED to get platinum (in the hardest way possible) unless there's online requirements).

The best thing would be, that there really is a trophy to beat the game ending with +20.000 Moolah in the pocket. But unfortunally most trophies are only developed for casual gamers.

I find there are often a few tough-as-nails trophies in most games.

Then, what kind of games are you playing that I am not playing?

And with tough I do not mean: Play the game for 70+ hours to be able to reach the amount of kills needed for this trophy kind of trophies. That is not tough, that is just lame and tedious and a way to keep gamers playing the same game for over 70 hours.


Why do I sense some kind of contradiction between those two posts?
30.000 is too much, 20.000 is not enough. Seeing this game is based on random values from 40-60 moolah per bag, +20.000 should be fair enough.
