Messin' Wit The System! (AO Glitch)

I don't know if anyone has done this before, but I recently discovered that you can escape Rupture Farms without saving anybody, and still have ZERO casualties!
How: Proceed to the end of Rupture Farms without saving (or killing) anyone. Don't kill the slig in the last screen, but roll to the very edge of the screen and let him see you. If you time it right, he can shoot you, but you'll still roll into the next screen, triggering the cutscene. When the cutscene's over, you'll see the Stockyards, but no Abe, then it fades out and takes you back to Rupture Farms. Escape again in the same manner, but this time you'll appear in the Stockyards with all stats still at zero.

what happens if u save em all on the second run through? or if you save them all on the first run through, use the glitch, and (if possible) save them all again..?

That's a pretty cool trick, but what about all the regret knowing that you really did let all those poor Muds die? How can you live with yourself?!

Seriously, though, that's a cool find. I wonder if there are more glitches similar to this that we've yet to uncover. I think its so cool that the game is more than 10 years old, and we're STILL finding new crap about it, like those beta pictures. There can't be much more to find...

can there?

Haha :D
What actually happened? I must find this out. :)

I killed all 300 in Exoddus and I felt really happy and i lived with it really well :P

Is it not impossible to beat the game and not save at least a few? I thought there were a few that you needed to save, like the first one you encounter in the mines.

There are a few exploits for those things.

I have found a few fun ones in Oddysee:

1) somewhere in the stockyards you can get stuck behind a fire pit
2) in Scrabania, if you run away from a scrab then hop onto an edge, it will keep running and get stuck inside the rock wall. you can even see it on the next lower level screen.
3) in one of the 'secret' levels, if you roll through the tunnel (2 extra paramites drop after you and only 2 follow) then hop onto the single grid ledge and throw some meat straight down, the paramites will crowd around you then pause. If you move correctly, you can roll past the other one, chant, then run like hell!

I wish I could remember them all!

there was one crazy glitch in scrabania that made a scrab walk trough a wall and kill the 2nd scrab

Yes, I have done some of those, as well as the slog who will follow you without attacking you. Some other neat ones to try are in AE, like complete the "baggaige claim" section without using invisibilty, or use quicksave to trick slig spawners to crowd the screen with sligs!

Please can you tell me were did you found those?

I found one too in exodux, in the slig barak, in one of the hidden levels where you posses a flying slig and have to escape the flying bombs; if using abe you run in the electric wall and than rapidly turn back abe immage will become invisible and you become immortal!!!!

You can also (I'm fairly sure) use Quiksave to possess a Flying Slig when standing underneath it.

It's a matter of luck, but I've come very close (to the point where he's blue and shaking) before being blown up.
