First off, don't double post, people will be reluctant to post if you rush them after just three hours.

If you want my honest opinion, it did look a bit rushed, I understand it was only a preview but the characters don't mix with the white platforms and scenery. Of course, I can't pick out character development or story line but I like the idea of a slig in a free-fire-zone story line. I do want to see this develop, good luck.

thanks mate, Sorry about the double post I was just amped to hear everyones ideas. Plus I did do some research on the white platform problem it was the wrong picture format hopefully I can fix that on the next episode witch i'm planning to have finished by next week sometime i'll try working on some character development but this may not even be the story it was just a preview of what it could look like - cheers the biggest face from oddworld

Sorry; but I have to agree with crashpunk, I'm afraid I didn't like it...to be completely honest I didn't understand what the plot was even about. Plus I think you calling it a "cartoon" was a bit misleading seeing as it looks like you only used altered screens and sprites; I think the word "animation" helps describe the video better.

But I'm sure if you keep on working at it your'll get better. :)

What are you trying to achieve with this cartoon? Are you trying to tell a story? Be humerous? Will you be making a full version? Will it be at all relevant to this?

You need to ask yourself these questions and explain so to us. Also if you spend more time on it and dont't rush it (for there is no logical reason to do so) you may just surprise us all. Good Luck!

Well that is rather ironic coming from the guy who brought us Crazy Oddworld. If you are going to be negative at least contribute by offering some ideas for improvement.

IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME

I love making animations, but sadly, most of them are shitty too :p
I'm sure if you keep trying, it will be better. My constructive criticism is:
Perhaps add voices to the animation instead of having to read it.
Having it a bit less fast-paced so we can understand the story line better.
Having kind of, close-ups to the characters, it will be easier to get the concept.

I also know you'd fix the colour but that is another thing that needs fixing, but if you do that and all the above, it would be great.

The key problem with that argument is that Crazy Oddworld is good.

okay If i could suggest improvements it would be almost all of it. The AO Sprites animations were the best bit because it was decent.

I think it looks like shit - Like you put a bit of gameplay into that stupid Amcap filter that makes screen grey and only black lines appear.
