How d you propagate Oddworld?
I for example always say to people in Starcraft2: Did you know that the glukkons are using your bones to make soulstorm brew?

I "propagate" oddworld by making sites, reporting news (has been a while) and moderating this place.

I propagate Oddworld by telling about it to my friends. I told like, 10 friends on Steam about it, and 2 of them bought the Oddworld -pack. 1 liked it, 1 couldn't care less. Fifty-fifty.

I got a bunch of people in my art class in high school into Odddworld by talking about how dark it is. They were all gamers to begin with but never played Oddworld before, I still know some of them today and we still discuss Oddworld every once in a while.

I wander around in a Glukkon costume.

I got two friends into AO a little bit a few years back when I brought the game round for their PS2 and they do know about this forum but I doubt it's in their interests to join.

Me and my mate have this relationship where I tell him stuff is great or that stuff will be great and he doesn't believe me then when a game (Borderlands for example) comes out, he'll end up playing it for hours and hours. Then I tell him that I told him so.

So after he completely ignored my Oddworld spiel for the hundredth time I sent it to him as a gift on Steam. Now he is also a fan. Also, I talk it up a lot on Facebook and have a discussion about it regularly at the Mana Bar XD

I mainly speak about Oddworld with friends who know about it but don't follow it as closely as I do. I'm like a mostly inaccurate Oddworld messenger.

Usually goes something like:

"They're working on Citizen Siege now. It's set to come out in 2010 I think. It's an animated film that has nothing to do with Oddworld, but it's good to hear they're working on something new."

"Hey man, they're not working on Citizen Siege anymore. They're actually working on Oddworld films now! Awesome to see they're back on Oddworld. It'll probably come out 'round 2018, but it's good to hear they're working on something new."

"Oh hey, what's up? Haven't heard too much more about the Oddworld films. I think they cancelled them or something. But, good news! They've partnered up with another gaming company who are working on a remake of Stranger's Wrath and then four or five more Oddworld games! And I also hear OWI are working on their own projects as well! Haven't heard much about it, but it's good to hear they're working on something new."

I'm always talking about Abe at school, and every time we get free computer time, me and my friends draw pictures of Oddworld stuff on paint, lol :D
