Is the Oddbox ever coming out?
 

I heard that Oddworld would be remaking their two games for original Xbox and porting them onto PC and releasing them on Steam like they did the first two games (although they already had PC versions), I keep reading this all over but the due dates keep moving every time they've been reached. Is this just a rumor? Is it true? Is it just not confirmed? Or is the product vaporware?

Also, MO was ported to PC, but still not released right? I figured it hasn't, but they have it working on PC. Good to know that this isn't just more vaporware.

MO has recently been ported to the PC for the Oddbox. The post isn't really clear about that and may be in need of a Max-edit.

The Oddblog says that it was delayed due to things like achievements, good to know that there will be achievements, but I really wish that they would just release it and add achievements in a later update.

Along with the fact that Stranger's Wrath is more difficult to convert than they thought.

You can play AO and AE through steam. Cheating is fun, but caution it wreaks the game :P

As far as I'm aware the OddBox hasn't been delayed because of achievements; I'm not sure where you read that on OddBlog. As far as the release date being pushed back: a release date hasn't been announced. Game sites just like to pretend they have a release date, and keep pushing it back to make themselves look less stupid but make the developers look repeatedly unreliable.

I knew that, I've owned them longer than I've been on these forums. (I've been an Oddworld fan since... I can't remember how long, so I chased after them once I got Steam.)

And no, I will not pull the lever, I'm fine without giant rocks being dropped on my head.

I always liked that level in AE. Even when you try to be a smartass by pulling to the left, it still goes FAIL! SMASH!

Psycoman27, yes the Oddbox is coming out. Munch is in testing now and Stranger is being worked on.


What is Oddmobb?

You are. At least that's what most of us believed up until now.

Couldn't you Google search or go to the FAQ? If it's not there you could suggest it. I'm not sure (I haven't looked myself), but I'm sure that it's an organization that is trying to promote Oddworld, trying to bring them back I guess.

OddMobb are a bunch of guys working on some cross video games social platform project.
