Oddworld voice emulations
So yeah; I was messing around with the pitch transformer is Logic Pro when I decided, wouldn't it be cool if I used it to emulate character's voices from Oddworld? I've been messing around with pitch changing for a while now and I think I've created some really good settings to help re-create Lorne Lanning's fantastic voice acting.
Heres the first test example; obviously I can't match Lorne's voice perfectly, but I think this is a good attempt: Oddworld voices: Abe and Alf by Stemo (P.S. Scrabtrapman; don't worry, I'm still working on the remix you requested...I've got the drums done but I'm still working on the other instruments; it might be a while but hopefully it'll be done soon.) :) |
hey it does sound good!!!
but ur accent is kinda wierd... |
That might be because I'm a person with a strong East Sussex accent trying to do an American accent; lol. :P
Hahaha. That was funny. It does sound a lot like them, but it needs tweaking a little.
That sounds...really creepy
I was going for a kinda creepy sound for Abe; as when I first played AO, its scared the crap out of me...but for Alf I was going for a more humorous tone. :/
This is really funny especially Alf's hello :-D
He is a cyborg? :D
"When 'ayrrrrr' was with abe.." hehe
It's pretty cool mate :) quite close to the actual voices.. is there a way to tidy it up by gettting rid of all the weird bleepy alience siren-like noises? |
Yeah; I can clean them up, most of those weird noises were actually the TV on in the background...when those sounds are processed they come out really oddly. :) But I'm afraid I can't do much about the slight echo on their voices. :/
That's pretty cool. With Stranger, all you'd have to do would slow it down a little bit and make it a lot deeper, with a lot of breath in each word.
So funny. :´D
