Greeters!!!
Random thread but i got the idea from Steef Lovers thread.
anyway who here loves the Greeter from Abe's Exoddus. Who think they deserve to be in the next game? :D |

Oddworld's version of PR. Great invention get em!, Hear Boy, ZAP! hehe I love those things. I would like to see them again in a future game.

I wouldn't mind if we don't see them coming back... a nice little appearance in a cutscene would be neat, but I don't really feel the need to see them coming back in gameplay.

I used greeters mostly for ınvısıbılyty trick, but I also zapped Abe 4Fun sometımes.

Í can see them work very well in 3D. On top of that, they were very well designed as a foe in gameplay, look and story-telling terms. In general, Greeters are awesome and deserve a comeback.

I can, for levels where the key is sneaking and subterfuge, it would be great, you know to have to dodge the greeters LoS and if you get caught, they raise alarms and try 'n zap you.

hmm,it would be nice to see them in 3d,also it would be nice to get an ability to tilt them,becouse of them standing on one wheel :D

I really don't see them as important at all. I kind of doubt Greeters would be in a new game.
