So... Do you have any artwork to show you've made yourself? :p Otherwise it is kinda pointless for you to start a thread about this, better leave it to the people who actually draw own creations :) Just saying, no offense :)

A while ago there was a thread which was a competition for designing Oddworld creatures, and while the competition is long-since over, there were some very good submissions; I suggest you continue any discussion on this topic in that thread. I'll change the title of that thread if it gets revived.

yeah i have got things i am working on, also acemind has excellents stuff. i will post em when they are done

Then don't make any more threads until you are ready to post them!

Okay, so I'm relatively new as well. I joined about the same time as this acemind and ledsnipe, but whereas I feel that I've had somewhat of a positive impact on the forum (don't hold me to that now haha, that's up to you regulars), I've stuck to replying and making a name for myself. I've made one thread, which I've had a lot of feedback from, for I had things to discuss relating to it.

I don't want to offend either of you, but if I was a regular here, I'd be a little peeved with these threads where you ask for others to post their ideas whilst not trading in any of your own ideas, concepts or speculations in the process. :/

No!!, now now, don't be sorry and ashamed for what you've done. You're trying to contribute to the community a much as myself, and your threads (although a few have been topics before) are interesting topics, just make sure you contribute to them as well.

I mean I have less right than anyone to criticise you :p Just don't leave threads open and wander off, have something to post ;)

Anyway, I'm unsure whether or not this is going to be merged now. Looking forward to see some designs though.

This is actually a good idea for a thread, but you can't ask people to post their artwork here... especially whenever the regular contributors already have their own threads to post their work.
