The importance of the Mudokon
 

I fell we generally fail to understand how important the mudokon really is, in fact, when you think about it, they are the reason Mudos has it's name, please discuss!

I think i feel a civil rights movement coming on!

Mudokons? Important? The only thing in which Mudokons are important is a Mudokon Pop!

thats the spirit! i'm a slig, (to be quite specific, i'm called Nuff, Nuff The Slig) and if theres one thing i hate, its mudokons! except from of course what max said.

Mudokons are simply like Native Americans or African Americans during slavery and have been forced into an existence with highly industrial societies.

However they had a proud and ancient legacy forgotten through time. I would say Mudokons are simply just the true dominant native species of Mudos which makes them very important in that aspect.

lol,well muds are important,but if there are no industrials,the continent of mudos will be full of muds so they couldnt find place to live,thats what the industrials are there fore,turn muds into pops,and expand,and get destroyed by abe,free slaves and then it goes all over again,like recycling

Have you considered that the Mudokons were named after Mudos and not the other way round?

yeah but, maybe they didn't originate in mudos, maybe thats where theres lots of them because theyre enslaved, but maybe they originated it, i dunno, sligos,...... nahh forget about ti=his comment.

We don't know anything about the rest of the world outside of Mudos, so it's impossible to even come up with a theory.

Well, then, one would assume that they're important with respect to the 'Native' stream, given that they're one of only two such species seen so far.

Mudokons are important because they were the first main specie to appear in the quintology! At least for me, relating to Oddworld, they are important!

Mudokons are no more important to Oddworld than Glukkons, Sligs, Paramites, Scrabs and any number of other creatures.

Mudokons are important, because without them, who would make my paramite pies, scrab cakes and that tasty new snack that's coming...
