My art gallery and stuff
Welcome to my art gallery. On a weekly basis you can view my latest works I have been producing towards an epic story I'v been working on for years now. Lately I have manage to have a full fledge studio. My goal is to produce a hand drawn animated film based in my own Myth that I will reveal later. For now I have two conceptual pieces I have done in Photoshop for your pleasure. Be sure to check back next week on new updates on my story and of course new art to go along. These two pieces by the way are not in my story but are concepts towards my story that I will write about later.

That art... Is amazing...
Consider me subscribed to this thread and checking back on a weekly bases. Good stuff, Paramiteabe. I thoroughly look forward to more and finding out about the myth behind these. |
Thanks mann call me PA for short I used to be a frequent member here. I think Im going to start up again. Anyway here is another piece I forgot to add but to give a little info on my story, I might as well talk about it now, I call it "Atalis" and it takes place on a massive world at the edges of the universe. I have like 10 stories created. Each introducing a new main character and that character's story. After the ten stories are told there will be a final story featuring all my characters crossing paths for an ultimate final adventure to a place beyond the universe called "Atalis." This thread is mainly an explanation for it and I will post a new thread actually telling the stories with chosen artwork to go along. but this thread is showcasing all of my concept work exclusively so you can see how much work I have done on this. But you guys are going to really enjoy these stories when I start posting them I am extremely excited about them. Like I said I might even at some point turn these stories into a cel animated film. I still got to work on that but at least for now I have concept art which I am gathering myself and turning it into graphic novels. Here are 2 more pieces. All 4 of these pieces goes to the first story called "Atalis The Epic of the Tree Folk"

Welcome back PA; we never really spoke before but it's great to see you again! :D
These pictures are really, really amazing. I love the eeriness, the mysteriousness, of the (underground?) city; brilliant. And the loneliness of the second. The other two are great, too; shame the quality has been lost somewhere along the way. But the world you've created looks amazing, really immersive and imaginative. I'd love to get into it! |
Thanks Splat here is a new addition for this week. Sorry about my delay for this week, I was a little busy with some commissions I had to do for people at work. Anyway, This one I call it "The Mechanical Whale's Tail". I haven't yet decided on if this will be a concept to my story but its cool anyway. It tells a story in itself such as if we keep hunting whales to extinction, then in the future we may have to replenish earth's oceans with the mechanical whales as crazy as that may sound. The Mechanical Whale is a sci-fi element that was inspired by my father in-law who gave me this idea for a painting. I painted in the background but I did not know what this piece was going to be. I didn't want to make this complicated. I wanted a simple idea with a twist and my father in-law said add in a whale's tail. I was like what thats just boring where is the twist in that? So he then said make the whale's tail mechanical or made out of metal and people can run wild with the idea and come up with what ever story they want about it. So that was my twist a Mechanical Whale's Tail.
This piece is 11x14 Acrylic on Canvas enjoy. http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...9&d=1283385824 Paramiteabe...:fuzblink: |
Wow, these are really something! I quite like your imagination and style, you make some interesting environments too. Good work!
|
Not as exciting as some of the others, but pretty cool. I'd like to see the rest of it :p
|
I really like these paramiteabe! Especially the first 2 landscapes. What material do you use to make these?

Stunning art backed by a seemingly jaw-dropping world and promises of novels and potentially an animated film? PA (sp?), where did you learn to do all this?
I'd love to see and read more of this stuff. Could you tell us a little about the world its all based in or do we have to wait for the stories? Have you created creatures which dwell in this world or are you using humans? What is civilisation and day-to-day life like for the inhabitants of your imagination? What is it about your work that has me hooked? Praise and congratulations on this yet again. I eagerly await my next dose of awe. ~Blessed be |
Well I use a verity of mediums ranging from traditional Acrylic to digital work done in Photoshop. I learned how to be an artist through self teaching and a school. Sometimes I combine the two. Well to give you some info on my comic which I am working on right now. It takes place on many worlds that is set across the Universe. Its about something I call "Machine Lords." And that is all I have to say for now Its going to be a really fun and cool little comic that I am hoping will inspire some people.
I don't want to reveal too much because this project is like my baby and I don't want to spoil my story. Its going to come in the form of a comic and I am self publishing it. I just hope what I am doing works. Oh yeah to give you some more juice on my story that I am now calling "Machine Lords" not Atalis because Atalis is just not a good title for what I am writing about and really that made up word don't make sense to me. Here is an early character facial expression study I did for one of the characters in my comic. His name is designation 0.0. http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...2&d=1283502543 |
Your art is very interesting. I like it very much. :)
|
This is way to ultimate
im going to check this thread often keep up the good work |
Thanks mann there has been delays on my story because of certain plot issues I am dealing with right now. Anyway here is some more work for your pleasure. This is a concept from my story. Its a world completely made from metal. Kind of like an artificial world with an atmosphere.

It looks really nice! I like the reflections in the buildings. Just make sure you keep it esoteric and original so it does not look too similar to something in, say the Star Wars universe or something.
|
I like your style a lot. :)
|
These are awesome! It all looks so diverse!
|
This is just amazing art. I really love your style. It reminds me of Oddworld :D
My favorite I would love that on my wall on a canvas |
I would have the first one, the city in the cave with balloons on my wall.
But as a poster, 'cus I'm skint. The metal city one is cool; the colours on the buildings are cool. It looks like a reasonably successful future, rather than an 'Ok, we stuffed up' future. Though it's probably a little early to judge :p (Indeed, no evidence to say this actually is the future). |
Awesome PA, I love that metallic place, sorta like a terra formed planet?

If you are interested I am selling prints and if you want to buy some work off of me I will be more than happy to sell you prints for a reasonable price. 8x10 prints will run you $5.00 because they are matted and printed on a high quality paper. Now the original is well a lot more considerable in price. I am talking at least $150.00 or more. But that is the original and that is for specific buyers. But if interested e-mail me at davesstairway@yahoo.com or simply PM me and we could arrange something. I don't want to start a soliciting thread here so just let me know via e-mail and we will talk. Now I also do commissions as well and I specialize mostly in landscape paintings. Just let me know if interested. Oh and here is another one of my illustrations enjoy! The quality isn't great but I did this way back in highschool which was like in the mid 90s. So it is what it is however it illustrates my talent when I was just starting as an artist.
