so is anyone going to get star wars:the old republic when it comes out? i wasn't interested at first and would have prefered KOTOR 3 but after watching gameplay footage and interviews it looks realy good.

I think it will pull through. I will has decision making and it is made by Bioware. So the story is worth experiencing. I seriously doubt the game will be grinding based, none of Bioware games are. They depend on how you manage the skills of your character.

I've been following the game for awhile now, I will be buying it at launch. I'm hoping that the pvp is worthwhile though since besides the awesome story telling part of the game, that's my main interest. But they're keeping hush hush about anything not involving story.

I've never played Old Republic so I can't say much. anyway I'm not a fan of most Star Wars games apart from Battlefront 1 and 2

You're not missing anything. I'd say they're pretty boring, even for RPGs.
