Half-Life 1 in UDK???
 

It would be nice if someone could take parts from Half-Life 1 and then put them into UDK.

Half-Life 1 textures in UDK
Half-Life 1 models in UDK
Half-Life 1 sounds in UDK
Half-Life 1 ai in UDK
Half-Life 1 maps in UDK
Half-Life 1 scenes in UDK
Half-Life 1 feel in UDK

What's wrong with Half-Life 1 on Source?

It would be awesome because both me and you will notice a different when moving everything to a different game engine. And then, mods or fangames will be easier to create than before, based on the feel you experience when you play Half-Life 1.

Its better to see the game in different engines than just goldsource or source engine.

Its like remaking half life in game maker.

All textures/models/sounds/ai/maps/scenes/feel is ripped and converted into a game engine that is not made by valve.

Why is noticing a difference playing the game on a different engine "awesome" as opposed to just "different"?

There are plenty of great HL1 mods already, so making them clearly isn't a problem.

Why would it being on UDK be better than being on an engine made by Valve?

Also, why in the first place are you telling us you think it would be nice? Are you looking for people to do it for you? Or just after agreement?

Bigger areas + no loadings, dynamic loadings instead.

Why are you asking people on an ODDWORLD forum to do this? Surely there are plenty of UDK boards out there that can help you out. Have you tried moddb.com? Check there for UDK based mods and forums and ask people there.

You'd be lucky to find anyone willing to do this just for free. Making the scene maybe, making it playable? That will require an entire team of people and a lot of dedication. Good luck with that.

I never played Half-Life, I want to try the PS2 version I heard it's better.
