An Odd logo??

See the purple circular bit in the middle? Don't you think that looks like some kind of fetus or something? Any theories what it is, and why it's there?

I always thought the fetus was there just because it was odd.

Also, the dot on the "I" looks like a sperm cell.

Oh yes, so it does. But I can't help thinking there must be a more deep explanation than "because it's odd", you know?

The microdot is a sperm, the O is some kind of developing Mudokon fetus (anyone who was ever curious about worker Mud genitalia, there's your answer. Dick but no balls). What I never understood was why there are two, why they are conjoined at the head, why one is smaller than the other and why the small one is full of sparkles.

They represent the two games that were "Brewing in the Belly of Odd" at the time: Munch's Oddysee and Hand of Odd.

Also it looks cool a mechanical contraption as the womb

Hmm, that's a very interesting thought, which reminds me- are they still gonna use their usual logo, what with them becoming Oddmob and working with Just Add Water?

I've wondered this. I expect OddMobb will have its own logo for non-Oddworld things, but I don't know how willing they are to use the OWI name/logo these days.

I suppose, on the one hand, they may want to keep the logo as a reminder of who they are and that they are capable of producing great games. On the other hand, fresh start, fresh consoles, fresh ideas...fresh logo, too?

I have no idea why it is there, but it is (are?) a siamese fetus linked by their heads. The bigger (and lower) fetus is clearly a Mudokon though, due to the ponytail.

It would be a good option, if didn't give the "M" too much focus, when the main thing should be the "O".

And yet the "W" in the original OWI logo has exactly as much more prominence than the O, even though "Oddworld" isn't CamelCase but "OddMobb" is.

Oh, well, no need to get too fussy- Not many other gaming logos have anywhere near as much significance as OWI's does anyway, I reckon

We actually considered using the the upside down logo for Oddworld Maniac back in the days... aaah sweet memories.

Anyway it would be awesome if they decide to use an upside down version of the OWI logo for OddMobb.

Indeed. And you know what? I think I'm going to be somewhat disappointed if I see it being anything but that upside down OWI logo.. :confused:

The small fetus is not even connected to the placenta,so they must have a common blood circulation...that's disgusting....
About the new logo-it just can't be as good as the old one

Heard of Sıamese Twıns (I dont know how to spell that, in Polısh and Japanese ıts quıte dıfferent).

Actually there isn't a placenta, because Mudokons are bird people. Placenta is unique only to placental mammals. That there is pure yolk.
