abe's oddysee weird cutscene problem?
so i have kind of a faulty ps2 (by faulty i mean buzzing noises in some discs and wont load)so whenever i get to i cutscene (example:the one where abe falls)will have glitches and sometimes loops that occur and almost can't make it through.the only cutscenes that aren't affected are like the 3 sec door transitions and the zulag door thing.and i've had this ps2 for 10 years.

You should go to a friend's house and borrow their PS2 and possibly 2 player it up so you can both enjoy the adventure TOGETHER!

It's not a bad idea though; try your disc in someone else's player and see if the problem is your player or the disc.

Use a ps1, it's better for ps1's games. I've had some problems with AE with ps2 too.

No. use a PS1. i found the PSP one glitchy.

I agree, PS1 is much more enjoyable

I find the idea of playing AO or AE on the PSP quite challenging, considering that it makes R2 and L2 the joystick. (that is what it does, right?)

Or holding it while trying to use GameSpeak too! XD

Get a newer ps2; the very early ones are quite faulty; we had one that kept breaking down, so eventually we just THREW IT ON THE GROUND!!! Well, in the trash, nonetheless... either way, the newer ones work much better. We have one from the mid 2000s and it works fine. I also hear an infinite amount of good things when it comes to the ps2 slim.

Go buy a new PS2; their cheap as chips now, you could easily purchase one for under £20 or if you wanna go even more old school...you could get yourself a PS1 off eBay; they'd be even cheaper. :)
