O: AO, Voice puzzle solution?
 

hi, ive completed all oddworld games many times, especially abes oddysee, and i know all the cheat codes for it, but every time i see the voice puzzle one i try it and it doesnt work, it cant be the game, cuz ive got 2 on the playstation, 1 on the pc, and 1 on the psp, the pc one doesnt have cheat codes obviously, cheats work on the psp one and psx ones, but never the voice puzzle one, have any of you used the voice one and it has worked? -OiTb

In that case, yes. I can use the voice cheat. It does work.

How are you doing it?

i hold r1 and press triangle, up, circle, left, x, down, square, right during game play next to a voicelock, and it has never worked! unless its for abes exoddus, but it always says abe's oddysee.

Right. And then you said something to the voicelock, right?

ohhh, im so stupid, i thought you were supposed to input the code, and then you select the voice, ill try it now, cheers.

nahh still didnt work, i put in the right cheat and said something, but abe just said hello normally, hes supposed to say hi like a slig right? well i think he is, but its not working.

With the cheat activated, Abe can solve any voice puzzle/password by uttering anything. As long as it's not a Slig Voicelock, in which case a possessed Slig needs to utter anything.

It only works with native mudokons, not slig voice locks. Sorry.
