So MS is having a conference about Kinect(natal), and Kameo 2 is being made for it. I love this news as this means Rare is still making games and not just shit avatar add ons, and I fucking love Kameo. Fuck yes.

Kameo was fun and clever and pretty. Natal is unoriginal and pretty. Rare is tops. Good news.

Apparently some tweeted incorrectly, its Kameo 1 with Kinect controls. This makes me sad. A Star Wars lightsaber game was shown though.

Fuck. It seems almost pointless. If they really wanted to show off their new toy they should have used Katamari Damacy while Rare worked on Kameo 2. Come on. Kinect is worse than Natal.

I really like the revamped 360. It will match my tv and furniture, it's got built in WiFi, and the hard drive is fucking huge. And it's still cheap. Come on, what's to bitch about?

Valve's surprise is ruined for me, as it's only going to be more info about Portal 2 which they've already announced is pushed back to 2011.

Didn't they cancel Portal 2 event for another surprise? Or was that just a marketing ploy?

They said that the Portal 2 event was cancelled, but they would have a surprise. Wild speculation about Half-Life 3 and Source 2 started so Gabe Newell made an all caps announcement that the surprise is Portal 2 related.

Microsoft had a really shitty show.

Wow, I was surprised at the quality of Ubisoft's conference. Everything they showed with Kinect impressed and excited me more than anything at Microsoft's conference. Also, the new Ghost recon looks awesome.

Personally. I'm looking forward to the release of Crysis 2. I heard it may be released on consoles. (where have I heard that one before.) But seriously, thanks to the incredible lacking power of consoles, the game is going to utilize cryengine 3 (a downshifted version of the CE2 for PC) which literally llooks like shit compared to OANST's sig.

But then again maybe they'll release an all beautiful version for the pc which crashes your pc every time you so much as look at it the wrong way.

I'm pretty sure I just read in OXM that it is in fact destined for the 360.

I've been reading about that new Xbox and I'm disappointed to hear that you know longer get a three year warranty! I guess they're pretty confident in the quality of this new design. Well I'm from Massachusetts, the show me state, so show me you've gotten the failure rate below 30% and then I'll buy one.

Also the built-in WiFi is a BIG plus and I think it's hilarious that Sony finally started including HDMI cables with their systems and MS decides to suddenly stop doing that >_>

Seriously, if I ran a company I would go out of my way to be original with my product names. Call it the Mini-box or whatever but don't copy the term your competitor has been using for multiple years.

It's kinda like naming the next Windows version Windows Leopard or something. Fancy name? Sure. Fucking stupid business move? Absolutely.
