Oddworld in the Eiffel 65 'My Console' song
 

This is old hat for some people, but just thought I'd like to mention.
In Eiffel 65's song 'my console' which was a minor hit for them, they list all the major Playstation 1 games including ODDWORLD! :)

Resident evil, gran turismo, omega boost,

Ridge racer
Odd world

The game on the playstation"

The same band also made a song called "Blue (da ba dee da ba di)". Abe is blue! (I know that's a kind of lame point to make but it's probably a co-incidence!)
Have you heard Oddworld namedropped into any other song or game?

I believe Pugsli intoned a quant ditty regarding the exploits of Abe.

It's a pity it's a bad song. EDIT: In my opinion.

Ok that's a little weird! xD I've been listening to both songs all day and yesterday eversince I found them on Grooveshark, and now I find a thread about them? :D

I was listening to the songs as I was drawing a pic of Abe(seen in my art thread).
And now, I'm Blue gave me an idea for a pic.

But besides the two songs, I haven't found or listened to anything else that mentions Abe or Oddworld.

I don't see many Oddworld references. But I tend to see hints of Oddworld in any steampunk series, such as 9 (film) or Fallout 3. The robots with the red eyes do remind me of them. Anyone else think the robot in District 9 looks like a Big Bro Slig?
