Insomniac developing new multiplatform game.
 
Insomniac is now making a new IP for both PS3 and 360. Good news, since I love everything that they make(That I've played), but have no PS3. Hoping its a platformer.

Cool, Insomniac's a choice company I've liked just about all their games but I think it's time to put Ratchet and Clank to rest, it's becoming the new Mega Man seriously.

If I ever become a game company, I'm never going to make more than one game to a series unless they're a) only loosely connected or b) the plot spans across them.

I wouldn't make a game and say hey, that was popular, I'ma make another one. And another. And another. And another... sure, the plots get weaker faster than the graphics get better, but that's a small price to pay for some hard cash.

IDK I love the PS1 Spyro games but after that they just got progressively worse, or so I've heard I've never actually played them.

OANST: Just everything released between 1997 and 2008 which is a lot of them I guess. Besides I didn't mean that any of the Ratchet and Clank games were bad I just meant that they're all just the same game over and over again like Mega Man.

Good thing no other person follows that flawed logic, or else there would be a lot less great games.

True, sequels are great for pioneering new game engines and perfecting old ones (w/o sequels we wouldn't have RE4 :P) but at the same time it's a good thing the industry isn't completely sequel driven and there are companies that just don't do sequels and have gotten along nicely w/o them (Team ICO)

No matter how good a formula is there's just a point where a good concept becomes a corporate whore (Sonic) I mean we all love: Spyro, Ratchet, and Jak games, imagine what it would've been like if they'd stuck with just Spyro all this time?

I am actually hoping for a sequel to Resistance 2 (FPS game) just because nobody plays 1 or 2 online anymore and I kicked a lot of ass in those games.
