I think i have finally generated enough artwork to produce a wall of confusion on the forums. So here I go. This is a sketch I did at school On lined paper... Your not bad by all means, but obviosuly there is quite a bit to work on. Maybe if you added some tone to your drawings that would really give them some depth. For example, that slig drawing in photoshop. I've only just started to get used to photoshop painting etc, but if you change the opacity and keep redrawing over the areas which you want to get more dark etc that could help. By all means, if your going for a more block colour character thats fine. I don't know if you use a graphics tablet because that would obviously make it much easier for shading on photoshop and adding detail.

I would rather just Draw on paper and scan it than use that. I think what your trying to say is, You want me to use a little more detail and shading to give an extra 3-D "push" to the images. When I get more experienced with photoshop, I will get down to shading. If you like, I'll take that Slig photoshop and "improve" it for you. |
Yeah go for it, even if you just added some texture to it or something. I know what you mean about tablets, i just bought one and it's doing my nut trying to get it to work properly...
