What oddworld could have been?
 

The idea of this thread is to try and make a collective of knowledge of what the story line for oddworld specifically Abe's Oddysee.

I will start by saying that when AO was going to be soulstorm, Rupture Farms was going to be called Mudos Cathedral, I have little more knowledge of the cathedral other than it looked in the pictures to be a native/industrial meat packaging plant. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Before, Abe was a fisherman who was captured by Industrialists.

MO was to involve Lady Margret and Queen Sam.

The removal of them both is proof that God hates us.

MO was supposed to have Slig helicopters, Slig tanks, Elums, environmental changes by the score...but it didn't. Why couldn't they have just postponed it (even a year if they had to)?

There's a point where being fashionably late turns into being unprofessional, and for a launch title that point is the launch date.

back on topic... Glukkon's where going to be native and industrialist, they where going to be called Oldgers after Olds who created them.

I also believe that Scrabs where arachnid Sr. and Paramites where arachnid Jr. same species at different stages of development!

I don't think that Scrabs and Paramites are the same species, nor do I believe they are arachnids...

What about the Quintology?

Wasn't there supposed to be 5 games with new characters working together to achieve the same goal?

Yeah, and the plan was that all of those heroes were to be united in the final game, which apparently wasn't going to end well for Oddworld as a planet.

No they where going to be called arachnids Jordan, as written and quotable from and in the First Ten Years book.

I think unreleased games where called:
Munch's Exoddus (bonus game)
Sligstorm (bonus game)
Hand of Odd
Squeek's Oddysee
Brutal Ballad
Wage Wars (non-oddworld)

He never said anything about names...

Fangus and HoO were not part of the Quintology.
