Soundtracks...?
Okay so i have found a few different 'rips' of various Oddworld titles, but i cant really seem to find the 'Official' soundtracks.
I am aware that Exoddus's was never actually released? But i have a few i grabbed from Youtube. I am wondering does anyone have the actually soundtracks, inculding 'Abe A Go Go? That is rare as anything to find. I'd like some info on what ones were released and what was not, i am pretty new here so go easy ha. If anyone can help me out... I'd like thses soundtracks: Abe's Oddsyee's Abe's Exoddus's Munches Oddysee's Any info guys? |
The only game that has a CD Soundtrack is Strangers Wrath. I'm afraid it's YouTube and Google if you want the music.
|
Yeah i figured it was a Youtube affair :/
So they never even brought out a cd for Munch's game? |
Nope.
|
God damn it.
Okay thank you for the info! |

Does anyone have the track names for the Abe's Oddysee ones?
I know some of the names, but not all... |
Only two official soundtracks have ever been released. In Japan only, the soundtrack to Abe A GoGo was released, and a couple of us have been lucky enough to get a disc from eBay. It's the first 12 tracks from this soundtrack that are available on Oddworld.com, but we have the full soundtrack available to download on TOL, along with much more, in a nice little hidden area called OddTunes. Without downloading either, I couldn't tell you whether either source includes decent ID3 tags, but I can tell you that the official track titles are, as you might expect, in Japanese. Cut off from my iTunes library as I am, I couldn't tell you them, either.
The other officially released soundtrack is Music From Oddworld Strangers Wrath, Volume 1, which you can purchase from the links given in The BUY list. A second volume is expected, but not any time soon since Michael Bross has other things to work on. |
I've just downloaded the Soundtrack from YouTube but its a real shame how there isn't a offical one.
|
The Soundtrack? Which one of the four games (two of which do in fact have official soundtracks) are you referring to?
|
WAIT THAT LINK THAT MAX POSTED CAN GIVE YOU STRANGER'S WRATH MUSICS?
|
How about you click on the goddamned link and see for yourself?
Then you can go click on the link Josh posted, which gives you some - but not all - of the SW soundtrack. |
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! IMA GO BUY ME SOME MUZAK!
|
Thank you for the info on that, its good to see that there is still music for this Available.
I love anything Odd and the music that comes along with the games, is really great stuff! |
Yes! I've been looking for this music for a while. Thank you.
And it's been a while... but it's good to be back. |
I don't know if it helps but the artist in AO is Ellen Meijers. In AE it is Ellen Meijers-Gabriel. I have the songs but I can't remember where I downloaded them from.
I do remember that I found the page in a thread in these forums.. too bad I can't help.. EDIT: Found the link from an old thread! http://oddworldlibrary.net/archives/oddtunes/ The Soundtracks of AO, AE and MO are in there :p |
Most of the interesting tracks are downloadable from the official oddworld 10 year site and just buy the strangers wrath soundtracks, it's awesome!
|
brechtos; have you bothered to read the entire thread? That's what we were just talking about.

But I would suggest getting it directly from the composers site instead of the amazon links (I got mine signed :D) |
