Does anyone own an I-Mac? Do you people think P.Cs are better? Reply!!!

since AO & AE are PC & PS games, it's more likely that the users of this forum will be PC users...and most people use PCs anyway...

i'd expect there to be some people who use Imacs out there...

I think PCs are better for what i need to do...i do, however hate Microsoft for making Windows XP...

We have a ongoing joke at work that Macs are to be forbidden. There is one at work gathering dust in the corner which no one wants to even go near. And no one in my department (we do tech support) knows much about them or even wants to... so we kind of consider then evil.

I guess they have their advantages for desktop publishing, but for business use and for a games I don't think they are very good cause all the good computer games are on PC.

Never tried Windows XP yet Gluk Schmuck... if it's anything like WindowsME and Office XP then I don't want to!!!

They run 2D programs for post-processing and design much faster than their PC counteparts, but like you said - no games. Still, they're cheap compared to brand name PCs.

Now SG Workstations - if I could only get to use one of those...

the reason Win XP is sooooooooooo bad is because you must register your hardware profile with microsoft (apparently it so people don't fraud them)...
anyway...if you change your hardware, you have to buy a new copy...
apparently it's really stable though...


i have no probs with macs, i just prefer PCs...

i think in terms of p.c.s ibm's are way better.

ive never used an i-mac. im a retard when it comes to computers. i never knew what the difference was between an i-mac and a normal pc. i do know one thing, windows xp is evil! evil i tell you!! eeeeeeeviiil!! i have windows 98 version 2 that was supposed to protect against the y2k bug. since there was no y2k bug it doesnt make a difference i guess.
