I was just wondering, what was the inspiration of the oddworld inhabitants team? what we're they inspired by to do such games? does oddworld really exist? Will we find it?..someday?

Well I'd like to think that the universe is such a huge place we might (never in our lifetime, unless we find a stargate) encounter Creatures that greatly resemble the creatures from Oddworld...
