Have you researched ship upgrades from Miranda and Thane ?

If so, place a probe for reference and scan, say left to right, and rotate planet in opposite direction, can get all the way around pretty fast.
I start at one pole and work to the other. Still not fast but better.

Some planet descriptions (yeah who reads those) will give an idea of what is there.

For what it is worth I found a fair amount of element Z (hardest for me to locate) on planets with Moderate description

May be better ways but this worked for me.

Welp, just beat it, spoilers ahead:

The beginning of the end game was great. However I felt the entire mission was far too easy. All the collector missions before this were much harder. Only time I had trouble was when the zombie things rushed me. Sucks that I lost Miranda, Thane, and black guy though. Not sure what plays into how it goes, Ill replay it a couple more times to see if I can get the achievement for keeping all of them. Question, If I start New Game plus, then will I not be able to load from my last playthrough. From the description at the end of the game is sure sounded like that.

Just don't save over the slot in which you saved that playthrough.

And if you don't want people to die, do all loyalty missions and get all ship upgrades.

I'm currently at 47 hours, and I just recruited Legion. Yes, I was surprised. In a good way.

Also, I am well on my way to sexing Tali. My only disappointment with the first game was that she wasn't an option. I wanted some Quarian poon.

It seems to depend on who you pick to lead the other party, who you send as the escort and who you leave as the rear guard.
Certain party members are just better suited for these tasks,and if the right ones are picked it greatly increases chance of survival.

On the timed valve part of the first mission, if any Collectors are left alive when the last valve is opened you will lose a team member, no matter what .

Finished it last night. Everyone survived. 52 hours. Fantastic game. Sentence fracture.

I have to go back to somewhere half way in the game or something. If not everyone is loyal then the unloyals will die, no matter what. Only problem is the fight with Miranda and Jack happened so early in the game for me there was no way I could have kept them both loyal. I never got to 100% Paragon before the end to win Miranda back either. There is a part where you can get infinite Paragon though, so Im going to do that.

That little pissing contest should not effect their loyalty, if both loyalty missions have been completed.
However it does effect who will and who won`t have sex with you later on.
Hell ,nether of them would even talk to me at end game, but they still showed loyal on the team screen.

Loved this game. Sex scenes didn't quite hit the spot like in the first game for a number of reasons:

A) They were fully clothed, sans Miranda who we got to see her bitchin bump-mapped bra (would've preferred video game jubbies)
B) The fuck Tali, face the camera you bitch
C) Didn't see Garrus's penis

Has anyone got the Firewalker DLC or Alternate Appearence Pack yet?

I got the Firewalker DLC, yes. It was......kind of boring. It's nice that it was free, though.

I finished this a while ago as a female Shepard. For the voice acting. Whatever. I was disappointed because I gave her short hair and made her a super space lesbian and the sequel only has male romances. Penis.
