Oddworld Project: Profit! :D
 

Hello! As some of you may have noticed (Like anyone did :( ) I haven't been on the forums for a while, thats because I was working on The Oddworld Project. I have been cooped up in the game ROBLOX a 3D online game where there are no set goals. (Kinda like Furcadia, If you are one of those people who went to Ajielyn's dream.) I have been planning to make several places and I actually have been working on a Wolvark Barrack. I have posted a similiar thread but noone payed attention. I believe one or two of you have joined roblox, but I'm still not sure. If I can, I'll get some pictures of some of the NPC's I created, however some of them are only V.1's. And maybe a few of the Wolvark Barracks.
EDIT: I got a picture of a mudokon (Me) and a few npcs, a fuzzle and its nest plus mudokon.

Are you asking about the actual character? They are just blockmen really, Their arms are identical to their legs.

It wouldn't be possible to create a more normal looking mudokon would it?

Or a less flat landscape?

I don't know what Roblox is, much less what it's capable of, so I assume you might be able to make something out of it. Not only that, I'm not really sure how much of Oddworld's atmosphere you can convey into this...

It's nice to see someone trying something new though.

I would appreciate it if someone ripped a model of a mudokon from MO and gave it to me. I would be able to make it better. Remember, I'm trying to create more landscaping... I'll also make a mesh downloader so everyone can see the landscaping.

About the sligs, I already made a base model for a "morph". If you want a could make you a custum morph. But it would be better if I got a three dimensional model of one.

Ripping models from any oddworld game is almost impossible.
Also, why did you put profit?

I managed to attract more oddworldians.
And seriously, you can't rip anything? Well atleast a custom model would do fine.

No, it is impossible to rip from MO. Also i think it is illegal as well. You also did not answer my quetion. What is profit suppose to mean, do you plan on making money off this or something?

Also Don't use blockmen. they look terrible.

Ok, I'll try to create morphs for everything but it will be hard to create morphs so you can actually hold something, because all the classic morphs are all fixed into position and therefore cannot use weapons.... or any interactive item for that matter. I'm starting to think that, when you start the game, you will start as your "horrible looking" blockman in a room suspended atleast a few thousand metres into the air and choose what you want to be. Attachments to the room will be for people who want custom morphs. Example: AlexFili will have his own room for his own slig morph. (A red slig in this case :/)

ROBLOX Has GUI'S So its ok. Now. Meshs Its a VERY Neat game. Trust me.

Meshs are my obssession, I made quiet a collection, I'm also going to make a v2.

You can rip oddworld sprites, music and soundeffects. Paul did the sprites and soundeffects.

What models were you talking about? I can't be impossible to rip them

I'm taliking about a mudokon but I seriously doubt it now.
