On ow-web in the download section you can find browser skins to download. What are browser skins? and why is there always poping up a window?

These skins are to be used with hotbar!
Hotbar is a software that interacts with your browser(IE or Netscape) putting a background picture in your browser's toolbar!
The skins are very cool!

aha but that means.I have to download the software. And then the background of the Internet explorer is the picture that I can download there?

I think so.
once you have hotbar installed you just have to click the picture to install the skin.
It is very easy.

I hate Hotbar. I got it ages ago and I seem to remember there being a lot of ads when I was trying to download it and get skins for it. It slows down your PC and all it does is add a little picture at the top of your browser. I found it generally pretty useless, so I got rid of it.

my Pc is slow. So it would better for me to not download hotbar (is this sentence corect???)
Isn´t there any other possibility to use the browser skins??

I have a rather slow pc too, but hotbar doesn't bother me. I get the nice skins perfectly. Freaky, try installing it, and if you don't like it: toss it off your pc.

I've never had a problem with Hotbar... thus the reason for putting the skins up on Oddworld-Web. I used to run it on my old slow PC without any problems.

Occasionally (as in once or twice a month) I will get a popup ad from Hotbar, and you can customize the buttoms so you see the categories you like (like I have mine set to Games and Sport).

Mudy sounds like moody. Moody comes from mood, like in having a bad mood. Don't get moody would mean: stay happy. But Mudy, (deriverd from Mudokons), looks more Oddworld-style.

uh, I guess I could make a banner for you but you'll have to be pretty specific about what you want it to look like because I'm no good with the creative stuff. Although I think you're current sig's good, it's original too. FreakyLA didn't understand it because she's German and probably thought it was a real English word.

NO No no Freaky. I DID know you were German (you've said that enough times before :p ), but I just wasn't to sure of my own sig. My English isn't perfect either because I'm a European too, but I guess most of you allready knew that.

I would try to make you a banner FreakyLA, but you've already asked Abe Babe and she's agreed to it. I believe she'll be able to make a great banner anyway. Also, I just don't have the time to make everybody a banner.

I can't use hotbar, it has conflicts and problems with Yahoo, i have Yahoo messenger. I wanted to download a browser skin, but they wanted that i choose between Hotbar and Yahoo, i chosen Yahoo... but it doesn't matter. I can live without browser skins :D

I don't think there are any actual Oddworld Browsers on that site... but you can get Browser Skins here.

All I can say, is stay tuned closer to Munch's Oddysee for something more... I don't want to give out details yet.
