i am sorry to report that i will probably be gone form the forums for about a week mabye more. i am getting my tonsils taken out. i am so nervous!! anyway see you in a week.

You'll be fine as long as you don't fall victim to that new, highly contagious disease that turns people without tonsils inside out.

Meh. I got my tonsils out when I was 7. They promised me jelly and fed my toast, chumps. Anyway as I recall it didn't hurt at all. But then, neither did getting my wisdom teeth out or severely burning my leg. Ah well, my pain threshold is high I guess.

Good luck with your surgery. I never did get my tonsils out so I have no words of wisdom, although I did contract tonsillitis twice.

Good luck! I've never had my tonsils out, but I've had other kinds of surgery. Don't worry, thinking about it always is the worst part and the surgery's never as bad as you think ;) Well, I hope you feel better and come back soon.

AB: As Luxo Junior said, Lantra is a guy. Don't worry, I made that mistake too.

Lantra: Sorry about the op. Good luck. You won't feel a thing, trust me. I had my thyroids out, which is in the neck area. Much worse then getting your tonsils out, I tell you. Now I have to take 125 mg's of thyroxine every day. Hold on. . . Did I take my pills this morning?
