Time to thank and reward ABE babe and Sydney
 

I wanted to take a little time to thank the people in charge of this great Forum. Sydney and Abe babe. My God everyone including myself for the most part have taken them for granted.

Just want to say thanks for all your kindness,great Forum,sites, and info, and most of all for your un-conditional dedication and hard work to make this place a good place to come. Oddworld is very lucky to have you both. I wish I could have the back-up for any of my projects such as the two of you very good and hard working people are there for Oddworld.



Now everyone I want you too to just say a quick thanks to these very deserving people. There are not enough people in the world like them, trust me I have been out there.

And Oddworld, reward them for God's sake. get them a XBOX and copy of Munch, they really are deserving and it would be a very classy move. They really do deserve the recognition and favor. I know they both would never ask for this or anything else, but I am asking for them. It would make me very happy and I know everyone else here as well. So do the right thing and show some love towards ABE Babe, and Sydney.

So common everyone and second and many times over my motion. Lets here it for our two friends Sydney and Abe babe.

Your right. Oddworld-Web, Oddworldian and the Oddworld Forums are haven for Oddworld fans. It's so nice from you guys to do this! Offcourse everyone with an Oddworld fansite deserves a thanx too.

From time to time I dislike the place because off spammers and stupid topics, but then the Administraters (and don't forget the moderaters) speak up and make it all better again.

Steel Shark your right, even though most of us mention it from time to time, it wouldn't hurt to say it again: Sydney and AbeBabe are the best!

I hope I can keep visiting this place, and I hope it will remain fun as long as Oddworld exists and beyond.

You are very kind. You needn't thank us though, we do it because we enjoy it. I certainly didn't think that in December of 1999 when I decided to make an Oddworld fansite it would become as popular as it has, nor did I think the forums that me and Abe Babe coordinate would flourish into what they have become.

i feel slack that we never actually thanked sydman and the babe of abe....but there is a fist time for everything.

First i wanna say thankyou for giving me this world, this room, this whole new life on this forums. Where i can forget my whole life and concerntrate on what i love with freinds and fellow stupidians. Personally it lets me get rid of all the troubles in my life and whenever something happens i always look forward to going on the internet and whacking the reply button.
Sydney and abe babe have put this place so we could talk about one thing and two things only :) ODDWORLD and freaks shoving cats in boxes. I loved the forums ever since i looked upon that white background with abe doing the "i dunno" pose. Ever since i was hooked. It was all thanks to my councellor who suggested i do something like chat or join a forum on your interests. I looked at Abe babes site and i saw it. "FORUMS" i was attracted to the sign and found out that this will be the place i change my life....THIS ISN'T BULLSHIT.

I have nothing else to say but...

Thanks a bunch you guys. Oddworld wouldn't be the same without you. I think it would be a very nice gesture from OI to give them a token of their undying appreciation (*cough* XBOX and Munch *cough*). You've given us all a haven of positivity for all us Oddworld fans. I think one of the best things about all this is that you did it because you wanted to, and not for rewards...but you deserve 'em anyways. :)

Well, it's hard to know what to say to thank them. There are not words enough to say thank you for all that they've given us. Before I discovered the forums, Oddworld was just a computer game for me. Then, for a few glorious months, it was a world I could revel in, play in, live in.

Now it has sort of returned to 'just a computer game' status, but I have something even better - I have these people, I have good laughs, I have interesting conversation, I have random stuff. And I would have none of this without Abe Babe and Sydney. I can't find the words...

*gets all choked up*

Gee, thanks everyone for the really kind words. I really don't know what to say. I mean to read the words of appreciation and the like certainly bring a smile to my face.

We don't ask any recognition or anything in return. I guess we just do this because we love Oddworld and are dedicated fans. But also because we like to create a sence of community for Oddworld fans who share a common interest.

Thanks once again for the kind words everyone... and to Steel Shark for creating the topic in the first place. I hope that your movie characters make someone show the dedication that we do for Oddworld, you never know.

I cannot fully put into words how much I appreciate you. You are such great people. People you know in Real Life are VERY lucky to know you. Im lucky enough to know you on the Forums. Once again, thank you both so very, very much. You are some of the nicest people I know. ;)

Well I am still waiting for Sydney and AbeBabe to get there free XBOX's and Munch game. That would really be the classy thing to do. They are a vital cog in the machine of success for Oddworld now and in future games. They represent the fans, which it's all about. So come on Oddworld, I know you check these topics out, do them a justice.

Also I am very dissapointed in the fact many regulars have not yet responded here with any kind words. But have found time to post elsewhere. Let's see now whom has not yet posted and why ????

Well Abe babe and Sydney, any gifts from Oddworld? If not then bah to them. They make a great game, but all else about them is tacky,as far as I'm concerned.You got to thank the ones that help you get to the top Oddworld, for God's sake it is a pity when people or companies take for granted important cogs to there wheels of success.

And still waiting for a couple of the long time users to speak up here, they have been here many times since this post has been here, no excuses. Including the I have my own opinion and rights B.S.

Okay so who thinks the oddworldian Forums is great????
Imagine what it would be lik if instead of Sydney making it somebody ele made it! And that person stayed at the old ezboard forums! Instaed of coming here! But that didn't happen so I think even though Syd and AB are well chuffed smiling thier faces off and probably laughing at our remarks, we should reward them proper...but with what??
All I can say is that just remember what they've done for us......all th times they've made us laugh! The knowledge they've brought into the forums! I dread to think what the forums would be like if a horrible person owned the Forums!
But I don't need to cos there is one owning the forums, by the name Syd! lol J/k lol
