Anyone with a Wii? Need mates!
 

I need a few more friends to play online Wii games with.
These are the multiplayer enabled games I have;

Super Smash Bros Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Strikers Charged
Battalion Wars 2
Bomberman Blast
Endless Ocean

If you have any of those games, let me know so we can exchange friend codes! I'd especially like some more regular players of Brawl and Mario Kart. It would be nice if we could get together and play at least a couple of times per month.

I have a Wii, but I've been spoiled by 360's online. The Wii's online is too much trouble for me to bother.

What's Wii online like?

It's crap. That's what it's like. 20 digit codes that have to be inputted. No voice chat except for a few games, and the only way to talk to them is through a speaker/microphone that you set near the t.v.

I don't use my wii online much, but only becaus I have to use my super-slow-laptop(TM)

Shame the Wii has one good side andlike 5 downsides aye

If I had the Wii, I'd be pwning people all over the world at DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Not that Brawl doesn't look interesting, though. :P

Super Smash Bros Brawl is fantastic.

The Wii online is developing, but is steadily improving.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare will knock your socks off!

That's why sticking to 360 is a mistake. I should have bought a PS2 instead of an X-Box during the last console generation. But Knights of the Old Republic just screamed "Buy me! Buy me! Even if the console you're gonna buy with me won't have free online and will stop working after three years!" :D

That's why I ended up with a X-Box, which had a couple of kool games (KOTOR, Munch, Morrowind). Although I eventually got a PS2 that only cost me 150$. :D

I'm not trying to start a console war. I own all three, after all. I have to say that the Wii is not that much more reliable, though. There have been a whole lot of problems with effects chips burning out, and Nintendo is not as good about replacing these things for free as Microsoft. If your 360 red rings, they fix it.

And we pay for the multiplayer because it is leagues ahead of even the PS3 in terms utility, ease of use, and features. Fifty dollars a year is nothing when you look at what they are actually giving us.

Guess so. If the PS3's online is as good as the PS2's, I'd go for this one if I could afford a new console.
