It'll be interesting if this is real marketing. Facebook was used well for District 9.

Yeah, I got a friendship request from Boss Molluck. There's also an Assistant Slig account. If this is marketing, then it's pretty weird and indirect. I'm not going accept friendship until I understand who it is.

That guy sent me a request for friendship. I won't say yes untill I know who it is.

I have never seen those videos on the Facebook page before. That Slig one at the bottom looks like it could have been Hand of Odd.

He's Italian, if that helps.

Italians and Oddworld haven't really had great results in the past.

A lot of that information looks authentic though, not too many spelling mistakes. What does everyone think?

I think nobody from OWI uses an Italian email address.

The information is accurate enough, but hardly written with flare.

Are we looking at the same Boss Molluck? The one me, Pilot and Xavier are friends with has over 770 friends.

i'll bet he's got that many friends due to games like Mafia Wars and the like. you join a few groups and get loads of friend requests coming through just for that particular game.

In any case, those videos are all real animations developed by OWI during the pre-production stage of MO. They're not real gameplay footage; rather, they're animatics developed to express what the designers wanted the gameplay to look like.

Anyway I doubt this is OWI marketing, it's absolutely be rubbish, especially to promote MO with cut material. On the other hand try to search for Caster on FaceBook.

If OWI is going to sart something like that I hope for way more quality.

i accepted a invittation to rupture farms and on the next day iv got the invitation from the boss-m. if you search in you tube how to rescue 99 mudkons on AO there is a italian guy video showing how to do that.
i think its only a fanatic for oddworld games and thats all.
