does anyone play an instrument? if so what kind I personally play the cello.

Currently I play a flute, but I'm learning how to play a French Horn so that for festival season our band doesn't get marked down for not having a french horn in a peice. I hated it in middle school when the judges said that we had chosen a pece that uses a frech horn exclusivly and we didn't have one.

Alright, stand aside! Unopa Nightfire's comin' through! 100% band nerd, right here! I play the bassoon (No body tick me off, or you'll get it where it hurts... it's a lethal weapon), Tenor saxophone (My school nick name ain't tenor chick fer nothin'!) and zee clarinet! I have won many, many awards for bassoon, am in a philharmonic, and have the best audition score out of anyone in my school band. In our marching band, I am saxophone/mellophone section leader and have won 3 awards in this year. And the clarinet was my starting instrument... *Hopes she doesn't sound like she was bragging because she tends to talk that way when it comes to band...* Hunter: *Groans* There she goes again... and she says "band nerd" like it's something to be proud of.... |

I play the alto saxaphone the violin the recorder (self taught) the piano i can play the clarinet (but i only know a few notes) i know one note on the flute i can play any pecussion instroment and i know a few notes on the harmonica

I'd love to be able to play a real instrument. I'd love to have a go with a theremin, moog or a mellotron, or any of the other instruments that Jean Michel Jarre plays.
As it is, I write all my music with music creation software (I have Music and Music 2000 on my PSX; I hope to get the next title [MTV Music Generator 2] for my PS2). My music is a mix of techno and ambient, with tiny little bits of trance, house, beat and jazz. Sort of Fluke meets Leftfield meets FSOL meets David Lanz and Paul Speer. |

I can play the Cellol too! I only got to Grade 3, however, and then we moved house to York. Since I don't actually own a Cello [can't afford one], I had one on loan from my old school, so I couldn't take it with me. I would have taken it up at my new school, except that Instrumental Lessons cost money here, and they didn't at my old school...

I am fairly OK at playing the guitar. It is the first instrument I learned to play, and it is my favorite.
