Favorite videogame voice acting
Don't care if this has aleady been done. I wanna KNOW.
I really like the voice acting of BG&E, Beyond Atlantis, and some of Oddworld. Based on snippets, I liked the voice acting of Bioshock, and a little from the Silent Hill series. |
I like the voice acting in the first monkey island...
Seriously though, Duke Nukem 3D had awesome commentary from Duke himself. |
TF2. Hands down, it has some of te best voice acting.
|
But in all seriousness I adore hammy voice-acting, so I'm inclined to go for Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy XII. Also Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean in Oblivion were excellent. |
Full Throttle, HL2.
|
Gotta go with TF2.
|
MGS especially the first one, also... SHENMUE!
|
Bioshock was fantastic, even if it was mostly voice diary recorders rather than dialogue.
Other than that, the Monkey Island games have always been great. Psychonauts had a huge number of characters and all their voices were perfect for the roles. |
MGS3 is pretty good (although MGS/MGS2 has its moments). Oddworld AE has the best Voice Acting in my opinion (Glukkons & Sligs in FMVs, but Stranger's Wrath is a close second). I quite like the Riddick games as well (because of Vin). Resistance on PSP has some good acting too.

I don't pay much attention to voice acting in video games. But I think the voice clips for characters in Breath of Fire 3 are very well done. They fit each character perfectly.
|
Lost Odyssey has some fucking awesome voice acting.
Also Dynasty Warriors Gundam for "Kamille's a man's name! AND I'M A MAN!" |
TF2. They just sound so awesome.
