Wow. Brings out the steam punk in Oddworld.

Nate 09-22-2009 05:12 PM

Oh... holy shit. I didn't realise at first that that was a model; I thought some wierdo had drawn/CG modelled some fanart of a train in a realworld (trucks and buildings) setting.

You don't want to kick up that shitstorm again, my friend.

I want that so bad. I'm gonna steal it from that guys house. Or buy it off him.

Software Bug 09-25-2009 12:06 AM

That is one awesome model :p Props to the guy for choosing such a complicated thing to make. (I know its complicated, I'm making it in 3d :p)

Is that modal Offical or Fan-made?

Fan made, this guy is clearly not associated to Oddworld Inhabitants.

That is awesome.

Especially Abe and Co in the Necrum Desert below. All that's missing is a bone lying on the ground in front of Abe :p

The train looks awesome and really brings the size of the Glukkons power into prospective. Good find!

abe is now! 10-09-2009 06:10 AM

Incredible... does it work?

MeechMunchie 10-09-2009 07:48 AM

It's attached to the board, and the track stops afeter a few inches, so it would be a pretty short trip... but a FeeCo train set is definitely some merch I'd buy.

Wow, awesome - That's incredibly nicely done. This guy ought to upload it to DeviantArt too, so that more people would be able to view it.

Grieva 10-11-2009 03:48 PM

Man, thats awesome! some really nice realistic drybrushing effects, always wanted to do that in 3D

Not really. It's an awesome, awesome model - True to form and made with incredible attention to detail, and I find it a shame I can't put this model on a little podium on that particular art site and go "Look at this, people - It's amazing", so that more people have a chance to see it and check out its awesomeness.

Instead, it's destined to be hidden somewhere amoungst game screenshots on Flickr where people won't find it easily because most Flickr users probably don't search for things like that.

Still, it seems he uploaded a bunch of GT4 screenshots recently - Xiaver ought to change the URL to make it point to the first image instead.

Thanks, I'm not too familiar with flickr.
