The Hardest/Annoying Boss EVAR!
Most challenging boss enemy you've ever faced in a game?
Materia Keeper - Final Fantasy VII Molov (or whatever his name is) - Red Faction 2 That dragon thing in Lost Odyssey (second boss I think) Big black smudgy thing in Resident Evil 5 Prophet of Regret on Legendary - Halo 2 The white tiger - Tenchu 2 Every Genshin fight - Ninja Gaiden 2 I can't think of any more but I'm sure more will come up if this thread progresses. |
:
Tyrant-078 (Resident Evil: Code Veronica) Beatrix (Final Fantasy IX) Evrae (Final Fantasy X) Gruntilda (Banjo Kazooie) Mimiron (World of Warcraft) |
Marx Soul (Kirby Super Star Ultra; The True Arena)
Reflux (Rayman 3; final battle) Eve (Parasite Eve; final battle) Splithead (Silent Hill) Strangely enough, these are definitely the hardest and most annoying bosses I've ever had to fight, and yet my friends would laugh at how easy they were to beat. While, on the other hand I could always beat the bosses they thought were absolutely impossible to beat, so I suppose that just evens things out. |
I CANNOT BELIEVE I FORGOT DEMONGATE.
|
I forgot about that arrrghhhh!!!!! Took me so long to kill it.
|
Castlevania - Circle of the Moon
THAT WHOLE FUCKING GAME WAS SO ANNOYING AND HARD. not to mention when I got up to the final boss, AFTER SEVERAL (8) MONTHS OF PLAYING THE GAME, MY GBA CART GOT FUCKED AND DL'D MY SAVES AND NOW SAVES DONT WORKKKKKKKKKJNBDSFWEioghrdfnkjwetrgsdlkntgf |
The DomZ High Priest - Beyond Good and Evil
Multiple stages and it's tough at the end when you have to figure out its pattern and be nimble with your hand shot thing. Miasma Parasite/Raem/Memiroa - Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Long as fuck, even when you're playig on multiplayer. Also pretty hard too. Various Colossi - Shadow of the Colossus. IMO, the hardest are the land snake, the giant eel, the tortoise crab thing, and the gecko. The last one is hard too just because it takes a while to get close to him and he shakes around a lot too. |
Various bosses on Jericho. They just won't fucking die. And Ruby Weapon from FF7, FFFFUUUUUUUU I HATED IT. I HATED IT SO MUCH.
|
Amorbis from Metroid Prime: Echoes.
But only on the first try. Technically three bosses, they can destroy your safety barriers and essentially kill you by letting the environment suck you dry. Also LASER LASER LASER You're dead. |
:
Final Boss in N3 - Insane imo. Never really reached this last boss myself, though I have fought him. He was huge, able to kill your character in a few shots, extraordinarily long ranged, and strange attack patterns. And, had an unbelievable amount of health. Nightmare's Orb Form in Kirby's Adventure - I can easily defeat this boss now, but at the time when I played it while I was much younger, took me way too long to kill, I raged so many times. An annoying boss at the time. Final Boss in Bubble Bobble - I hate this guy. Not only was a pain to reach him after 99 stages of chaos and madness, but his real final form... |
Shadow of the Colossus
THAT FUCKING SAND WORM |
The sand worm was easy, you pussy.
|
Those eyes, man. Those freaky, vulnerable eyes.
|
Mother. Fucking. ICHIRIN AND UNZAN. |
:
Every other boss I had no problem with. BUT FOR SOME FUCKING REASON THAT SAND WORM It was like a child standing on my testicles. And I can't do much about it, because if I push him, he gets hurt and his mother gets angry. So I have to gently coerce him. While he's standing on my balls. |
The final boss fight in kirby and the amazing mirror, until you figure out to use fire at the beginning, and the running sword side-ways slashy thintg
The first boss in DN3D takes forever to kill the first time, but then you look back and think 'Gee I sucked once' |
:
The prophet in Halo 2 was fun though! I liked punching him in the head I thought it was easy, except maybe on legendary I didn't play Halo 2 on legendary as much because it didn't keep track of what difficulty you beat the levels on like in Halo 1, honestly bosses in FPS games always feel tacked on. Levithan in R2 FTW! "The End" in MGS3 was annoying, and Crying Wolf in MGS4 took me forever beating her on "The Boss Extreme" is freaking exciting. The boss of the Wind Temple in Wind Waker, I hated when he swallowed me!! The Boss of the Water Temple in OOT, Morpheus, was easy but that had to be the most confusing Zelda temple of all time! The hardest Zelda boss EVER is shadow link from Zelda 2, enough said, it makes me want to throw up. The hardest part of SOTC for me was finding the damn things, although the gekko one that climbs up the walls that you have to shoot with the arrows in that arena gave me a lot of trouble. For some reason I really felt bad for that one, that part of the game just ties my stomach in knots for some reason. |
You should feel bad killing any and all of them-they don't do anything to anyone. Just chill in their valley/lake/mountain.
|
Or air. That air snake didn't do nuffin' to nobody.
|
Some of them fuckers attacked first. Like the cross dressing one. I still felt bad, especially for the air snake. That one was my favorite.
|
Yeah, all the ones that use those damn lightening balls. And the air snake was my favorite too! It really had no way of defending itself other than hitting the attacker when it buried itself in the ground. And even then, it didn't have eyes to aim with.
|
My God... the goddamn Prophet of Regret on Legendary.
Spending half a day getting to him with my brother, only to give up after about an hour and a half because we couldn't kill that filthy bastard. Oh, and that final Collossus on Shadow of the Collossus... nothing worse than actually knowing exactly what to do and still falling off about three hundred times. |
Final boss on Jade Cocoon 2. I had to rethink my entire strategy to be able to beat this. This involved raising a whole team of maus!. Maus take forever to get to their final stage! I had a tamatotch in my team the whole game and he hadn't been merged enough to reach his final form. I never finished it.
Edit: Post 250! Pitiful compared to Alexfili, who's been on here less time than me. |
Being on the last stage of Hydro and pushing back the other team is basically impossible.
|
I think that really depends on the teams. Well_CP is my fave map, by the way.
|
On the 360 version it's unpushbackable. I've seen it defended once.
|
Tekken 5. Devil Within mini game with stuuuuuupid gaaaaaayyy reeeetaaarded True Orge. God, what a pain in the bum he was. Dx<
I had to freakin watch someone else beat him on my computer cause I just couldn't figure out how! I'm never ever going back to Stage 5 and fight him again. :dead: |
