A few interesting questions about Abe's Oddysee

After playing Abe's Oddysee I have a few queries:

1. Why is Abe blue and every other Mudokon green?

2. How does he end up working in RuptureFarms?

3. Why did Abe think he had a good job when he was a slave?

4. Why are there no wild Sligs or Glukkons?

5. What are those chip things on Abe's mouth, and why doesn't he peel them off?

6. How old is Abe?

I don't expect answers for all of the questions, I am just wondering if any of you know. :)

In future, ask questions in the Questions & Answers thread at the top of the page please. ^_^

1. Abe is apparently blue because he's the chosen one, destined to be the saviour of the Mudokons. His skin symbolises that.

2. When Sam, the Mudokon queen lays her eggs, they are taken to nurseries situated in different work places, Rupture Farms in this case. Mudokons are raised in these nurseries until they are old enough to be made to work.

3. Well, I guess it might have been because it was the only job he'd ever had, and didn't realise what a poor job it was at the time.

4. There could be wild Sligs and Glukkons, we've just never seen them yet, a lot of people like to write about them in fanfiction however.

5. There are several theories for that. But the only one I remember is that Abe was a very loud baby and he cried a lot, so they stitched his mouth shut so he couldn't do it anymore. He kept those stitches as a reminder of his childhood.

6. According to the Oddworld website, he is 15 years old, in Mudokon years.

Thank you for your answers. :)

I'm sorry that I didn't put them into the Questions and Answers thread.
