What story do you want?
I'm trying to get a better idea of what the Fan Corner crowd is into.
What kind of stories do you want? What types of situations do you enjoy? What do you not enjoy? What races do you want to see more of? Which races do you not want to see? |
personally I'm more war and action oriented.
I like a well detailed battle or fight seen. As for races, i would prefer to see species that have not been used very much. which is why i use Wovlarks in my story. other races i would like to see is stuff that didn't make it into the games, such as chroniclers meeches etc. |
My preference isn't much different from Mr.odd's. I do like a good, detailed story and action is very effective (as the oddworld games are full of action, or themed around action/adventure) plot twists are great too; keeps me on my toes :tard:

I don't read as many fanfics as I should but then again I don't have much spare time. I suppose more concise and twisty/intricate plots would entice me more than brainless action-killer-novels. Not that i'm not into action of course :)

Would you prefer to have one hero on his own like a Rambo character? Or would you rather have a team of misfits?
Would you have one central villain? Or quite a few different forces which specialize in different fields? Thanks for the feedback, this is going well. I prefer originality in stories above all else. I've read some generic Slig stories, but a lot of the new ones are quite unique and interesting. I also like the social interaction of the wolf pack, which is why I wrote the Pack series :p |
Sheesh. Alex, you're the only one who's got fanfics I actually want to read. Like the Aliens on Oddworld thing, and Tulia's pack. No offence to others, but fanfics aren't really my kinda thing ...
Well, how the characters go, what they do, how they are presented, all of that should be up to you really. However, one thing I would like to see is some small form of Wild Western (Yes, it can be very small, but I wouldn't mind). I just love da smell 'a' DRAW in the morning'. |
While I do accept the praise gladly, there are plenty of other new writers here who have a lot of skill. Slig75 has shown amazing growth so far and there are plenty other stories to check out. There's one called "Officer Clucks" about a western style setting. Check it out.

Ok. Here's a far-out idea.
What if we had like a roleplaying game where we are all part of a horror story and we have voting. After each vote tally, the person with the lowest votes would have their character die at the hands of "The Creeper". What do you think? |

Here's a sneak peak; "Fifteen individuals are assigned to inspect an industrialist factory. They comprise of a wide variety of job titles and roles such as Geologist or Security Officer. They come from a wide range of backgrounds and are of different species. They have only worked together once before, so nobody really knows anyone else. A strange noise has been heard inside and the individuals are awaiting orders."
