Question: Any games with Slig-like characters?
I was wondering if anyone knows of some games where you play as Slig-like characters? Either part-machine animals or like semi-evil anti-hero guard type characters?
Or any games based on a prison could be interesting. I saw a picture of this one game where it was this prison isometric adventure game. The developer was Spanish but I think it got translated. No idea of the name. If anyone can help i'd be very greatful. Also, any games like the Italian Job / Ocean's Eleven? Where you case a place and then rob it? That would rock! Thanks! |
I saw a commercial once that had a character that had a face like a slig with the tentacles and eyes, it was called
Awesome. |
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate destruction.
Not necessarily relevant, but you'll be having so much fun you'll forget what you wanted in the first place. |
One word.
Illithids. Or two. Mind Flayers. http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/dx...d_sorcerer.jpg I fucking love Mind Flayers. |
What flavors do they come in?
Actually, yeah, there are these three games where you control Slig-like characters. they look exactly the same, actually! You don't control them the whole game, but at specofic points if need be.
Can't quite remember the name, though. |

H.P. Lovecraft hates you now. :p
Who doesn't he hate?
Upper class thin white British gentlemen.
well you could play the call of cthulhu game for the pc, you get to kill a tiny cthulhu, cthulhui i think they're called? the cthulhu followers that fought the elder things.
My friend Kale once met a woman who named her son 'Cthulhu'. Apparently she didn't know where it came from but just "liked the sound of it".

EDIT: I think rlyeh is where cthulu is trapped right? the underwater city... *worships all things lovecraftian* |

I just don't get the popularity of Cthulhu. The stories themselves are wordy as fuck and not all that terrifying. |
Yeah, he even out-pisses Meyer over the rainbow, and gets away with it because his creations are

Fun fact! His wife was Jewish. |
Of course, I was just stating that his prose shares similarities with a well ripened aubergine, perhaps I went a little overboard but man does that guy have a fandumb.
His wife is sneering sort of in the second one.
They are the same picture. But, yeah. That's how I would expect the wife of Lovecraft to look at people.
I kinda like The Colour Out Of Space and The Mountains of Madness.
shadow out of time was interesting i thought, even if it did have a lot of plot holes
Hmmm, I quite like Lovecraft's work but I have to agree it isn't terrifying at all. I especially liked the stories involving Randolf Carter, but again, I wasn't looking for some horror literature. :p
